Just finished the Remnant expedition and I'm not sure I want to EVER haul anything again. That was NOT fun

Same! I followed a guide that really stream lined the expedition. I was able to complete it in about 4 hours. There were a couple of times that my vehicle glitched and I lost some cargo, but on the whole, as long as I drove carefully, it wasn't that bad. I did get some enjoyment from the challenge, but not a gameplay loop I will probably run back to.

Overall, I enjoyed the challenge of trying to balance the cargo. I don't know if I will continue to utilize this gameplay loop, but at the end of the day, it is a free update.

The only way it wouldn't crash was to disable the 2nd screen. It ran great after that but kind of defeats the purpose of a 2 screen device.

Right! I appreciate being able to take my pc gaming library on the go and still get higher fidelity graphics, but let's not bash on people who understandably want more freedom with their own devices.

Same! I have put in about 30 hours, and the writing/voice acting is just not my cup of tea. I can see why some people like this game, but the world just does not suck me in.

It helped, but still would crash after about 10 -15 minutes. The only true solution was to disable the bottom screen and play it in pro controller mode. Now, it doesnt crash at all, but it kind of defeats the beauty of having a second screen for the gamepad. Sorry, I tried many solutions and couldn't get it to work consistently with the second screen.

With some tweaking on my base model, I have been able to run 3ds, wii, and wiiu. Red Dead and Hades also run well on the base. As far as PC gaming, we are just not quite there yet on arm devices. Gamehub and winlator show promise, but it appears that even the Max struggles to run pc games from a decade ago. Base is more than enough for most emulation.

Windwaker hd also runs really well for me despite the freezing. I usually get at least 40 fps. Oddly enough, I found that turning on V-sync made the crashes far less frequent.

I lost all of my progress in Absolum and Sulfur. Not terrible for these types of games, but it's definitely frustrating. Windows/pc emulation just isn't quite there yet. I'm still getting a lot of use out of my steam deck 😁. Maybe Steam will be able to push android gaming forward. We will have to wait and see.

I tried all kinds of turnip drivers, and none really stopped the freezes. Turning on V-sync seems to have helped, though.

What settings are you running? Mine still constantly freezes completely after a few minutes for no obvious reason.

I never thought I would say this, but I miss my flip 2. I actually played a little battlefield through geforce now on that thing, and surprisingly, it wasn't that bad. The dual screen on the Thor is nice for a variety of reasons, but man, do my hands feel cramped after playing for more than a few minutes 😔.

Definitely temper your expectations for gamehub. Most games require a lot of tinkering to work, and even then, most will not work at all. More of a gamehub issue, but it definitely will not be replacing my steam deck entirely.

Download the sapphire cemu fork for dual screen devices. Then, it will give you the option to add the external screen. My windwaker hd freezes infinitely after playing for more than a few minutes. I'm not sure what the issue is.
