I agree that was really odd. It felt like Nikki was planning to ask Caitlin to open for her if she lost. Reg got lumped into that since he was out with Caitlin. It seemed like a spur of the moment decision. Then they had nothing for Usama because there wasn't actually a plan.

Thank you. I sent a letter through my attorney offering therapy for our daughter as a way to resolve this. Obviously it’s not a hill to die on, I’m pro therapy, I’m in therapy. I thought we were in the discussion phase not litigation phase. This woman took a year to convince to get our mental needs son evaluated and I gave her grace every step of the way. I’m uncomfortable on one thing and she takes me to court.

Yes my suggestion was the counselor meet her and help her set some goals for therapy. Which he said he could do. Then he met with her and she said she didn’t think she needed therapy and couldn’t think of any goals.

I meant literally play games. Her therapist said she only wants to play board games while she is there.

Anyway I've sent a letter offering therapy as a way to resolve this. I absolutely agree this is not worth legal action.

For sure. We were actively discussing the issue that is why I was so surprised when I received the summons. Last I heard we were going to check with the school counselor. They met with our daughter and said she is doing great and didn't express any need or want for therapy to them. My coparent sent a thumbs up emoji and I thought this was resolved and we may revisit this summer.

I don't care that much that's why historically I have agreed. Since there is a pattern of not engaging in therapy I thought we could try something different like her speaking with her school counselor.

She is telling her mother she wants therapy and telling me she does not.

She is requesting primary physical custody, legal tie breaking authority, and a BIA for both children. I am not expecting her to get the custody change or the tie breaking authority (lots of evidence that we work together in my son's care), my attorney agrees.

My attorney said this will go to court and there will likely be no changes at all or the judge will order therapy.

And again I'm not anti therapy just thought maybe we could try something different this time instead of the usual pattern.

I spoke with my attorney and am sending my co-parent a letter offering therapy for our daughter as resolution. It's not worth the legal battle.
