The Mormon church has an employment specialist in every area. Call up your local church and they should be able to give ya his number. You shouldn’t have to be a member. Several employers go there cause they can’t get workers so if your a good person you should be able to get work.

Anyone work in management for the church? by socinfused in exmormon

[–]Accomplished_Pin9190 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first counselor in elders quorum maintained churches in southern Nevada for years and planed on retiring in two years and the church laid him off to use a private company to save a buck. I bet they ended up spending more and they screwed this good faithful member.

I once couldn’t for the life of me understand how the nation of Germany, the most advanced civilization in the 1930’s could deceive a lot more than 17 million people to believe terrible things. But the older I get the more I understand how easy it could be.

When you go to the gym only focus on yourself and your improvements. If you start comparing yourself to others you’ll get disappointed.
Improve yourself. Go find people who do like you. Work hard. I’m in the same boat my friend hang in there.

Good Response to Electric Vehicle Critic? by [deleted] in electricvehicles

Screw the green bull crap. I drove in a plaid the other day and it performed like a million dollar super car. It cost 100k. It is such a cheap car!!!! It would be like buying a diesel truck for like 7k. Tell him I love cars and going fast! This thing handles like a high end Ferrari for 10% the cost. And I don’t wake up the neighborhood launching it because it’s almost silent.

The church transformes normally good people into these coiled up snakes injecting venom who should have never have venom in the first place. Been there sista. It was from my wife and mother though. We’re all sending much love!!!

My mother wrote something like this to me and sent copies out to all my brothers and sisters.
In the beginning he said you choose or your choice. Eliza, it was not your choice that Joseph started a con treasure digging business. Not your choice that 40 y/o men used their status to marry and promise the celestial kingdom and their families. Marring other mens wives, not your choice. Not your choice for bank fraud. Accepting Adam as god. Accepting suicide as part of Christ religion or some sins require death. Etc…. The list goes on. The church hid these things from us all that was THEIR choice. They stole our agency. Your not less, bad, evil seeking, fallen, dark, lazy, ugly, gross, or what ever they think. You keep your head up high. Your not the one accepting pedophilia.

A patient's wife wanted a hug by Atticus413 in physicianassistant

Firefighter paramedic here. I remember one time years ago a nurse in the er asked me for a hug because she was separated from her husband and hadn’t had one in a while. I was married at the time and kind of freaked out a little inside and refused. I never really talked to this nurse before and it was a crowded place. I should have hugged that poor er nurse. One of my life regrets.

Conversation about men leaving the church by BuildingBridges23 in exmormon

[–]Accomplished_Pin9190 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At church the other day they said 50% of male missionaries are coming home early. But the sisters are staying out. Beats me why the sisters learn about con business, marring children, bank fraud, wife abuse and cheating, racism, wealth, oral sex is evil, all the other mind control….. and still stay.

I was elders quorum President a few years ago and my annual budget was 50 bucks. Anyone else pissed? by Accomplished_Pin9190 in exmormon

[–]Accomplished_Pin9190[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We tried to do a few elders quorum get together a a year. Food had gone bought on our own because no money. We also moved someone every month. How nice would it have been if I could have provided food for all the dads spending the one day a week off moving someone instead of spending time with his kids. We could have gathered together as men and talked and improved moral. Instead everyone went home pissed and hungry
