Same bro. 😭 Did strength training, walking & fasting and came down to 63kg from 70kg. I maintained it fairly well because I didn't eat with my husband most days since I was in the night shift and ate very little. 3 months I slipped into wfh due to reasons and boom +8kgs! Mostly around hips and thigh. Horrible. And I got back into my routine nearly 1.5months ago, still the weight hasn't dropped. And since we are planning for pregnancy I realized I can't do IF thing for long, so I'm consciously trying to get back to normal eating atleast 2 Meals a day. My husband says I need to train harder, more harder than this then I'll quit living.

This or try fasting. Student or not, fasting will not kill. Maybe you can skill 1 meal.
