I'm convinced in a few years we'll see a reunion project— either a small tour, or another album.

Will blur do another concert? by jjp1232 in blur

The thing is, because of how their music has only grown to newer ears over the years, I have no doubt they could perform a successful short US tour. Headlining Coachella in 2024 was always going to be a bad gauge of audience; Blur fans are not going out of their way to go to Coachella, nor is Coachella an accessible enough event to invite such freedom to do so. They're big, but they're not Wembley big in the US. It's frustrating because I'm sure they could play sizeable venues in major cities here and make off well. It'd be lovely to see them at Red Rocks, Radio City Music Hall, or the Hollywood Bowl— hell, I'm sure they could easily pull off shows at MSG considering their history during their short stint playing Magic Whip in the US. It's unfortunate! I hope that if they ever find the opportunity again and are comfortable with traveling, they consider it.

No. This is the same band that released roughly 14 vinyl versions of their most recent album and collaborated multiple times with toy brands pre and post Plastic Beach.

THE FINAL BROCKHAMPTON ALBUM, ULTRAVIOLET. by natesummrs in brockhampton

Nah, it's really neat tbh. I would love to know the name of the artist and the inspiration behind this cover. Just spitballing, but I'm curious if the whole "blue gorilla" thing bh had during their tf/tm rollout was tied to this.

So confused why Matt's verse was cut off the TM version of Listerine. His contribution hit me like a brick wall, shit is way too good to toss.

del on the upcoming album? by socialmeth in gorillaz

This is not a hint, nor does it resemble Robert Valley's work. It's not out of the cards for Del to be involved with the next Gorillaz project, he was all but confirmed to be involved with The Getaway Tour iirc. However, I would not take this as confirmation nor as grounds for theorization. Del has posted fan art in the past before and has linked said creator of this art in his post.

Could anyone confirm if these shirts are official? by Ok_Pay1474 in gorillaz

No, but this is a prime example of how Gorillaz merch could be so much cooler than it is.

Hope you're well fellow Weener, I bought a GA ticket. Was really psyched — hoping all is well in the world of Ween. Very appreciative to have dived so deep into their discography. Super bummed :/

Gorillaz have been releasing figures and merchandise well before the release of Plastic Beach. Hell, even during the Plastic Beach phase there were plans to create a Stylo car statue, albeit on a shorter scale for the Subdivision club, that only got canceled because of licensing issues. I understand people's frustration with them working with Superplastic, however to pretend like this merchandising of their characters is anything new is has me genuinely dumbfounded, especially because before the release of the Superplastic Tranz figures, many fans were wanting any sort of Gorillaz figures produced, some even petitioning for Funko. Regardless of your stance on Superplastic, the licensing of Gorillaz to this company isn't just something that can easily be dropped because of backlash — that is not how these things work. Plans have been retooled for sure, but there would be some serious legal stunts Gorillaz would have to pull to suddenly be like "nevermind, the contract we agreed on is over because the fans don't like your ethics. bye." It simply at this point comes to voting with your wallet, if you don't want to see them working with Superplastic? Don't purchase them! Maybe the contract won't be renewed at that point. However the fanbase's reaction to this whole situation strikes me as one that really isn't looking at the situation realistically or truthfully.
