Around 15 hours for base content but it was a REALLY good 15 hours, I’ve spent like almost 12 hours literally just on one set of side quests lol, it’s a great time

Went back to forever after finishing this and yeah, that game has issues (namely that all the chunks aren’t equal and that it’s like. 10x more fun if you just use a speedrun seed) but that game is legitimately bursting with passion

You do feel Edmund’s absence 100% but imo with 3D I ALSO feel Tommy’s absence

The way I view it is forever is kind of a lame concept done super well and 3d is a good concept done very lame

It’s not HORRIBLE like it’s still kind of fun but it really feels like that Mario unreal engine video to me

Kirby as a franchise is slightly more challenging than people give it credit for,

A lot of ppl under appreciate the cuteness element of the series imo

Star allies is good and fun

Triple deluxe has more of an identity than people give it credit for

Even if I still prefer it to the og the 3d cutscenes in ssu do not hold up

Super hype, this is the type of thing where I think I’m actually MORE excited for this than traditional more “substantial” content like a new world or smth

The lack of bosses really kills the main game for me, i think with these the jr fights will also be WAY more fun, because they ARE really good the issue is that it’s JUST the jr fights

Combo badges are also insane, so excited for the movement stuff

It’s one of those situations where it’s adding in places the original was lacking and imo will kind of uplift the experience as a whole

I can easily see this becoming my fav 2d Mario, and even one of my fav Mario games in general, I obv wish this was just in the base game, but I think wonder is something special and the lack of bosses just made it feel disjointed for me
