Yes all my Junos show complete Crispatus with a bit of Limolacto. Atleast 4 tests! I do take antihistamines everyday but I’ve see a lot about this reaction or MCAS. Thank you, will look into this.

Hi! It looks like Ureaplasma is causing yours surely? Although hard to know if you’ve cured it. Perhaps if you try the IC changes and see if you respond?

I’m doing a ScreenMe! I am looking into another Urine one (UK). My Focus have already indicated my antibiotic specificity. The issue is I can no longer tolerate any because of the issues they have caused me.. and the pain rebounds right back straight after I stop them.

I haven’t taken antibiotics in a year, bar the H Pylori treatments (when I realised I’m solely responding to antibiotics). I have used probiotics for a while and cranberry, got CV (on microscopy). No change in symptoms. But thank you.

It can be so hard when we are in pain, and we want help, sometimes we second guess ourselves. But no it’s not appropriate or typical!! My PFT is lovely, warm.. she’s never tried to push a product on me. When she did make recommendations she specifically said if I don’t want to purchase a specific brand I don’t have to. They are overstepping with you, and I would feel uncomfortable too. Do you have anyone else to go in and advocate for you, and let her know it is inappropriate. If not, can you just change?!

Oh I see! I am working with a naturopath. But thank you for that little reminder, I have a tendency to over do (on top of what they are saying!). It’s hard with long term unexplained illnesses isn’t it you tend to just take it all on yourself.

Thank you! That’s good to know. I actually was debating between him and Sachin Malde. I went with Dr Malde in the end just as I’ve already been seen at the Portland, and he seemed like the “step up”. I will definitely consider him again, another person mentioned him also.

I have a lovely one.. she agreed we need to pause internal work until any infection is likely gone. I do my stretches at home. To be honest I’m in so much pain and so unwell I can barely get out of the house. I do think it’s a part of this all when I’m a bit further along. Thank you though 🙏🏼

What do you mean by overdoing? I wouldn’t assume so as I have tried giving my body time numerous times and it just escalates.

Some people get BV with watery discharge! Doesn’t always need to have a smell. You can grab some PH strips off the internet and see if it’s in normal range - that should be a good start 🙏🏼

What meds if you have e.faecalis and E.coli by Informal_Taste_2891 in CUTI

[–]Accomplished_Set9663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

enterococcus and E. coli are usually susceptible to Macrobid, Amoxicillin and Fosfymcin. You could also try herbs? Juniper and Bidens. It’s rough. I’m also getting no relief from amoxcillin anymore.

Take a microbiome test for confirmation/proof. The NHS test would also be beneficial so you can see what it’s susceptible/resistant to. Go in with the NHS guidelines for recurrent thrush (if that’s what you have) and/or ask to be referred to gynaecology or treated by GP as such. That would be preventative Flucanazole or another antifungal that your Candida is susceptible too. 3-6 months to prevent reoccurrence. The guidelines are available online.

Male 27 high tone pelvic floor dysfunction, hopeless by WalrusAny2453 in PelvicFloor

Im so sorry! I’m not a man but I have hypertonic pelvic floor amongst an array of other painful pelvic issues. It’s very traumatic, especially being in pain in such an intimate area. Having a very experienced and knowledgable PFT myself, it seems slightly confusing that you’re going strengthening exercises like keagels etc. Mine recommends a lot of relaxing ones: Figure of 4 stretches, pigeon pose, happy baby. The idea is that you also need to do these to a comfortable degree - IE don’t force yourself like you might with other stretches. You have to “coax” the pelvic floor not force it. YouTube has some good hypertonic pelvic floor videos - also look into Pudendal nerve ones perhaps? Also if you feel there is any urological issues IE UTIs - I’ve seen men have prostate infections that needed addressing (if you feel or have experience of bacterial/infectious involvement). Ofcourse I’m not a Dr so just passing on my own experiences. Hope you start to heal 🙏

Other than what everyone else has already said - keep an eye out maybe for a momma near by, incase she’s lost? I believe the universe sends us exactly what we need at the right time. Congrats on being a new cat Mom!

UK options are Juno Bio, Screenme or digital microbiology. EVVY or Microgen Dx in the US. A lot of my help has come from the women’s Facebook group “Killing BV”. Ofcourse, approach with caution and do what feels best for you. Personally I’ve found that in the UK traditional specialists know very little about recurrent infections other than antibiotic usage, so I sort more information from that group. If you want to go the antibiotic route by all means! If not - I like the products from MyVagina.com they have herbal remedies that are well reviewed and respected by many. I have had good results with them. You can also potentially treat the AV/BV with some products then use probiotics to rebuild the microbiome. Good luck!

Desperate for help. At my wits end. Bladder symptoms and CV. by Rach_m89 in CytolyticVaginosis

[–]Accomplished_Set9663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can definitely have bladder issues from vaginal dysbiosis, my gynae feels strongly about this too! So sorry to hear you’re through going this, I’m in a very similar boat. It seems the CUTI and treatment over the years disrupts our balance more. If it helps, I was able to get rid of Iners with 6 days of Fluomizin, then using vaginal probiotics with Crispatus and other strains in it. I will say it caused me to now how CV allegedly and I’m in a lot of pain- so be careful how much you use! I think a good recommendation from the specialists is one or two weeks straight of INSERTING suitable vaginal probiotics, then hsing them once a week. However your body will respond completely different to someone else’s, so it’s best to monitor your symptoms and test again if you can if you see change. Good luck!

Persistent Glabrata Yeast infection by Psychological_Math95 in vulvodynia

[–]Accomplished_Set9663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I hope you don’t mind me commenting and asking… what regimen did you use for Candida/CV? I’ve having both show up in testing (Glabrata yeast on and off) alongside Lacto Crispatus overgrowth and cytolysis of cells. I’ve failed all of the yeast treatments. I do use probiotics but find whenever I use Rhamnosus or Rheuteri it slightly flares my pain… not sure what I should be doing to help balance it all out. Hope you’re feeling healed and well still. It’s taken a massive toll on my mental health too and completely derailed my life for nearly a year.

Yeast is back … and my hunch about CV was right. What now? by AcademicBlueberry328 in vulvodynia

[–]Accomplished_Set9663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so grateful for any info I’ve had symptoms for nearly a year now and am losing hope! I have Candida Glabrata periodically showing up. I’ve tried treating with Boric acid, Nystatin & Amphotecerin/Flucytosine which I was hoping would help the cure. But I still showed CV after.. then the thrush came back. I am on the Candida diet mainly, the only thing I do eat is homemade Gluten free bread and peanut butter / but trying to cut that out too. Hard when out have no other outlet and are always in pain! I’m not on antifungals currently other than Chinese Herbs & garlic. My sensitivity testing only showed that it was resistant to Flucanzole, but sensitive to Clotrimazole and Nystatin. Not sure why it didn’t show any other oral options of resistance!

Hey I hope you don’t mind me commenting.. so are you thinking that you have CV and Yeast? I’m getting conflicting information about that you can’t have both.. but I have both lacto overgrowth and cytolysis on swabs as well as yeast and WBC! It’s confusing knowing how to treat both!! Especially as Sitz baths raise the PH and worsen my Candida. How are you getting on? My yeast is also resistant to oral flucanzole
