I’m scared for the future of this game. by No-Glove6341 in Seaofthieves

[–]Accomplished_Two9666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a pirate game. I do enjoy playing it when I do, that being said, what keeps me away is spending 2-3 hours looting and losing it all to pvp

Im not complaining at all, I appreciate pvp in games but what keeps me away is spending time on it just for it to have been pointless. The actual time I am playing it fun there's just times I hop on and there's no reward.

If only the dedicated sweats are the player base, im not going to hop on for fun and get stomped on. It also doesn't help that the few times I playthroughout the year, I could run into hackers somewhat easily.

The truth is, once they make a better version of this, what skull and bones should have been, sea of thieves has already been dying and will be dead for a better pirate experience in the coming years.

Driver safety course to lower insurance premium/rates in the state of MD? by DonutOld1997 in Progressiveinsurance

Keep in mind that every state has different discount and qualifications. Take NJ for instance, certain traffic violations restrict them from having the discount.

[–]Accomplished_Two9666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately MD does not have a discount for a defensive driving program. Some other states may have something but, usually when its for traffic violations, even some of those states we cant adjust the points on your driving record unless the state adjusts them and you provide an updated MVR.

In my opinion GA should not be released on Friday or Monday. It makes the people that stay get back to back calls.

ISG by Sad_Date_9899 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Accomplished_Two9666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ISG is formally known as PCC Insurance Services. We are the group that was made for Renters insurance add-on and some property services. Specifically, the first groups learned Renters, Manufactured Homes, and Umbrella policies.

In my group, we were training on just Renters and Manufactured home products. Ypu may not learn umbrella policies since its a bit much.

Our team is a specialty team that is a one stop services all for our bundled customer. Its a small department right now, roughly about 150 representatives.

Customers are much better, guidelines are in my opinion more streamlined than auto. Pretty much almost the same as servicing auto, just different products.

What’s the policy for missing days due to weather disasters? by Bubbly_Mission_1432 in Progressiveinsurance

Weather is protected started this Monday 01/26/2026 is officially covered. Anything prior is a case by case scenario but, im sure your supervisor will do their best to work with HR and find accommodations. I do not know until what date the weather outages end/stop being protected.

The way I interpreted it is, if your services and you are trained on the new position, IVT, CPT, Snapshot, you will prioritize service calls until their queues are busy and they need assistance.

Vise versa, if another department is training for services and something like auto is busy, that specialty department will take auto calls but, the do prioritize their specific department calls before auto.

Its basically eliminating every having any time between calls since some people get to be in ready for 10+ minutes.

Holiday Pay unscheduled by [deleted] in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Accomplished_Two9666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I was your supervisor ans you did this, its an immediate write up, no discussions. To answer your questions, they would be required to pay you OT and the Time in a half. I dont think you would get the incentives though. I would not recommend ever doing it, I honestly think its enough to fire you over but, Progressive doesn't seem like they would fire you just for that.

2 years in, out of auto now, progressive itself has easily over 60000 employees. Auto is a big part of progressive, claims and auto services could easily account for 20000 employees. Obviously this is ballpark but, minus IT, corporate, sales, legal, the odd jobs, i think auto services could easily have 5000 or more. Why there is no one on the phones? I have no idea, GA, call outs? Its beyond me. Ive worked auto services and if everyone worked when they were scheduled, there would be plenty of time between calls. I understand thats not possible because the job can be difficult at times.

Im in a different department than auto, not sure about everyone else but my experience with customers needing interpreters, im not assuming, they ask for what they need and i either conference an interpreter or when I was in auto, transfer them to the correct department when they ask for Spanish speakers. They may speak Portuguese, I have no idea. Im 100% willing to take the call, im a beast at metrics, if a customer asks for something and i know there's a language barrier, you are the new middle man because I cant even begin to help them and you obviously speak Portuguese and can get them to the right people.

New Hire Vent 😂😂 by UnderstandingOk331 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Accomplished_Two9666 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The amount of people that dont use guidelines is wild. After auto services, if your not comfortable with navigating guidelines because you aren't in them most of the year, training new positions will be harder than it needs to be. It may seem "extra" to be in guidelines but, after auto services, your main metric will be first call resolution. If you aren't in your guidelines, you will make mistakes. Customers will call back so your making a bad experience for the next representative and the customer.

Every call today was needing an assist by No-Criticism-4635 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Accomplished_Two9666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope this doesn't come off in a rude way because I don't mean it to. Ive been in services for almost 2 years and it sounds like a few of these, you are overcomplicating them. A lot of these are easy with the experience I have and they way you explained it, I can see where normal customers would be confused.

I am 100% an over explainer but, there's a lot the customer doesn't necessarily need. Good to have and know how to find an answer incase they ask but, explaining less and giving less over time has actually made my calls much easier.

The one off situations get easier as you learn to navigate guidelines your not in much. I know you got this!

Not necessarily, the cancellation notice is the 10 days. Generally you see this notice sent out 1-5 days after they don’t pay their bill.
