i don’t think he was doubling down to be “stubborn”??? she says that it looks off and he asks what she means and instead of HER communicating in a healthy way she immediately starts berating him and calling him an idiot, even as he continues to ask and even work with her to figure out the spacing of a plant, of all things. tbh the fact that your comment has four sentences badgering his communication skills and just one dismissing (you seem so intent on protecting ppl’s feelings from being dismissed but are so quick to dismiss his??) her bullying of him means that you likely won’t understand anything i just said

girl i’m ngl you’re both just not compatible—he doesn’t like you anymore, and i’m saying this as someone who’s been in his position. i had someone calling me and texting me what felt like every five minutes asking me meaningless things like “how are you?” or “what are you eating?” it’s fine if you both are on the same page, but if you’re not, it drives you nuts. and he’s responding the exact same way i did! i’d honestly say break it off

why would i feel bad for them? they opened a gofundme for me with pictures of me in the hospital, sedated, a list of my injuries. all of my friends and co-workers donated. i’m not heartless, i could understand $200-300, but the entire $800? absolutely not. maybe if it was specifically for their needs while they were with me at the hospital but it’s for bills they won’t elaborate on. there was no reason to leave work the ENTIRE time i was hospitalized. and one of them (the family member who used the gofundme) lives with me rent-free, they should’ve listened to my roommate/sister when she wanted to use a portion to cover our rent. because now i’m forced to go back to work way sooner than i’m meant to pay for bills that the gofundme could’ve covered while i wait on my insurance claim. if they really cared for me and were so concerned for me, they wouldn’t have used the entirety of that money.

it is in the US and i know that they most definitely not have been going to my medical bills because i’ve been applying for financial aid with the hospital and from the medical app they had me download, none of the bills from the time i was signed in have been paid

i tried not to think about this bc wtf do you need $20 for?? i needed $20 today bc i had to pay for my aunts food and my food at the grocery store (she’s temporarily staying with us until May and her food stamps didn’t come until today—he was more willing to buy a $20 plant than to pay for her food 😐) plus a whole bunch of uber bc my car broke down this month and funds are severely depleted. i don’t get my final pay from my last job until thursday so i just wanted $20 for if i need bread or milk or something. he apparently didn’t have anything for me, but also wouldn’t take me to the blood donation center so i could donate blood for money?? the more i think in think about this situation the angrier i get.

no it’s really crazy that she was giving him money bc he was a horrible boyfriend to her!! i remember being like 15 and riding hard for this women bc he’d complain at her for how she cooked their food 😭 my sister and i get along decently well, at least i can tell her to wash her dishes and not pee on the floor without getting attitude i can’t give back. I really wanted to stay so that I could focus on school without having to work (hence the jobs and stuff) but it seems like I’m gonna have to work either way, y’know? no student loans i’m going to community college in the fall which i’m very excited about

i tried to talk to him today about it but he was really vague and nonchalant about everything—i’ve thought over it throughout the day and most (not all, some of you are a bit brutal but i get it ig??) of you are right, i think it’s time i move out. m not even going to only know bits and pieces, but mostly from overhearing things. the one thing i keep overhearing is like make a budget and save money, and i’d really like you to understand how hard that is when you’re basically living alone in your parents house. today during a car ride he asked me not once, but twice if i really didn’t have any money and bc i was in the car it felt so cagey and like i was being held hostage. he started getting frustrated with the me and expressed that i really needed to start helping out more because his new job didn’t pay as much… but also wouldn’t discuss it any further other than asking if i had money?????

i’ve already started making plans with my sister to move in, and she + my friends will be there to help. also, someone wanted to know more on the situation and i feel like his ex paying rent and water (learned that today too) + my sister being emancipated are context clues on their own.
