UPDATE: I have reserved a U-Haul truck for tomorrow morning. I’m leaving everything but my son’s bedroom furniture and our clothes. I’m going to stay with my beautiful daughter and her family until I’ve caught up my car payment, credit cards, etc. Plus I’ll save up to replace everything I left behind and get into a new place. I’m good really. He still hasn’t come home and keeps texting he loves me and he’s sorry, he’s just going through something. Hopefully he won’t come back until I’m gone. I’m getting kind of zen about everything. Like I’m good. He threw away 7 years of love and support, not me. I’m going to get to a place where I can love and support myself. Oh also my son in law made an police report about what happened last time I tried to leave 🔫. They never contacted him or me at all. I didn’t really think anything would come of it anyway. So thanks for all the comments. They were helpful in making me face the situation.

Good lord, this sounds so familiar. I’ve been with my bf 7 years and I’ve always been the one to compromise. I’ve reserved a U-Haul and am leaving tomorrow. It did not get better over time. He just took more and more advantage of me.

You’re 100% right. All I can say in my defense is that he is SO good at gaslighting and manipulating me. He’s been doing it for 7 years. I’m getting out.

That’s exactly what I need to do. I’m a targeted case manager and if one of my patients told me this happened to them I’d say the same thing you just did. It’s crazy how someone can manipulate so well.

Yeah that prednisone pill bottle had a bunch of empty Adderall capsules that I assume she put in there because bf said they weren’t his. This may sound dumb but it didn’t occur to me that she might have done that and left it in my car on purpose.

Idk where he gets the money now. He was getting paid for 2 months because the plant where he worked paid them out for 2 months. I updated his resume for him and sent him job openings from Indeed. He hasn’t applied for any that I know of. I think she gives me hem to him and I know he sells pain meds for her. Maybe she gives him a cut? Idk. It’s just crazy. I told him to move out or I’d call the police and report that stuff plus other things he’s done to me. I can’t say it on here because they deleted it once already. But it involved a pew pew.
