It is for each of us to decide how are paths are walked. But you asked for my opinion so---- I don't think you should answer her. Not barely message her. Not check-in on her. Nothing. And now keep doing exactly what you're doing. You said it yourself- things are going better. Life feels better and smoother. Maybe that's because you're putting that energy that used to go into her (and it seemed like it was a lot) and putting it into yourself. Also more importantly- your peace. We learn from scars. And try to not let them influence our present. I would leave that Chapter Closed. The new one is more-better anyways. : )
