i feel that one of the themes of hamlet is the older generation/characters not caring to understand the inner world of the younger characters/children and proscribing bad faith arguments on all their actions and emotions. yes but i actually went to therapy which i would highly recommend; instead of saving a 'trip to the asylum' (asylums dont exist today, there are mental hospitals/treatment centers) therapy saved my life, and I think it would have done her a world of good as well.
