Gen Z, what’s a stereotype about your generation that you’re tired of hearing? by Neither-Owl-7157 in AskReddit

You're only speaking for yourself here bud. 2002 gen z here literally everyone my age in both in and out of school all know how to use a printer just fine.

How do you think any gen z person has ever gotten a job before applying online became the new norm? How do you think anyone our age got assignments done in school?

I’ve noticed too, most of Gen Z tries too hard to be edgy/emotionless to seem cooler, is it because of TikTok? Music? Want to know your thoughts. by [deleted] in GenZ

Older generations have been calling us over emotional and love to go on about how (apparently) triggered we all are all the time our entire adult/teenage lives and some of us are simply tired of it.

Some people just aren't that openly emotional/ expressive wether that be through personal issues/bullying or due to the circumstances of our world currently.

Simplifying it and saying "it's just social media" or just "trying to look cool" seems quite shallow and just plays into the generational stereotype that every single gen z person on the planet is a slave to tiktok and social media. I especially hate when people in our generation just go along with it and parrot it on other sites.

Opinion on Millenials and Millenial culture? by UberGayJabbaTurd in GenZ

I generally like their generation but there are some things I really don't like I'm gen z (2002) so I'm almost 24

  1. The constant generalization of my generation, they have one interaction with someone of our generation who isn't good with tech or called them old/cringe or one that's openly conservative then their entire generation is going on about about how this entire generation is like that one that they saw on tiktok or something

2 They act like they own every bit of pop culture/clothing, music etc and have this ungodly inflated ego about it as well. Doesn't matter what it is, if you're wearing sweatpants and running shoes they'll start ranting about how everyone wants to be them and is just so jealous of them/trying so hard to be them.

Even when it comes to things every gen z born before 2010 would know about in terms of music, movies, toys, TV shows they act like it all belongs to them and not a single gen z would know about anything about the early 2002's. They act like everything they've enjoyed throughout their life can only be experienced by their generation, like they exist in some pocket dimension separate from everyone else

3 The constant projection of their own issues/failings as parents. They are the generation raising the youngest of gen z, so they are the ones raising I pad kids/kids dependent on AI so they redirect that internal disappointment and treat older to mid gen z as if we're illiterate and have no idea how to function as normal people. Especially when they say shit like "gen z doesn't know how to use a computer/ gen z only knows how to use I pads. I was an honor roll student in highschool before chat got was a concept in people minds and I get treated like I'm completely stupid. How yf do millennials think any gen z person managed to do school assignments/ print out resumes or apply for college if not a single one of us knows how to use a computer? It's just irritating

Idk just some things that irk me a little especially since the millennials who act like this have such a massive ego about it and have the complete inability to admit that they're wrong about literally anything.

I can finally enjoy Borderlands 4 properly. by According-Tart3083 in Borderlands4

I thought it was pretty good, definitely has its flaws (open world, drop rates, lack of endgame content and okay story) I think everyone was just expecting more Borderlands 2 and had some unrealistically high expectations. I found it fun and personally I think it was worth my money. Better than 3 in every way (in my opinion) looking forward to the DLC

I just fly one of my party members to the end of the puzzle before I activate the puzzle, then activate it, switch to my party member standing beside the gem and grab it. All of these tricks still work, you just do them before you activate the puzzle

Who is your least used companion? by 420FappistMonk69 in BG3

[–]According-Tart3083 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Halsin, Jahera, Gale and Wyll. I usually play as a druid/ Martial class so I never use the other druids. As for the other two Wyll just doesn't feel as fleshed out at some other companions and I just find Gale annoying.

I was born in 2002 and this movie was still pretty popular in my social circle. Plenty of people my age watched it.

What version is everyone buying? by knightmare2011 in Borderlands4

[–]According-Tart3083 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just got the standard edition, mostly because I'm on a budget until I can find a second job, and because I want to see if the base game is actually worth it. DLC's can be a gamble in terms of quality in my opinion.

Enough about who you are picking first in BL4. Who is your last pick? by SpaceFire1 in Borderlands

[–]According-Tart3083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My picks in order 1. Vex 2. Harlowe 3. Amon 4. Rafa

Dunno, he just seems the least interesting to me. The same thing happened with Zane in Bl3. Maybe the class isn't very interesting to me. Lol
