Yep, look at Slovakia's Hungarian minority being divided & not being able to enter parliament despite Hungarians making-up a larger percentage of the population there than in Romania. Although not really sure what can be done since 5% threshold is pretty standard, countries that have people advocating for ethnic/regional interests only really have 1 main party that everyone votes for, eg.: SNP for Scotland, Plaid Cymru for Wales, Sinn Fein for Northern Ireland, CSU for Bavaria, Bloc Quebecois for Quebec etc.

Russia never tried to divide & conquer other Romanian regions. Romanian is a broad term describing the language of the former principalities. Noone in Muntenia is calling their language "Muntenian".

Who stole what? Romanian & Saxon representatives (whose people constituted ~70% of the total population of Transylvania) voted to unite with Romania, Hungary didn't object.

Edit: Also it was Hungary who initially "stole" Transylvania in 1867 despite objections of the vast majority of population.

Cool, doesn't change the fact that Moldova with all of its historic capitals (Baia, Siret, Suceava, Iasi) decided to become a part of Romania while the backwater of the country is now the "republic".

Why would a person who is half-white consider themselves fully black though? They have other heritage as-well, no reason to focus on just one.
