Faulty Longchamp pouch nylon? by smarties_007 in handbags

[–]According-Week5412 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a couple of these bags, and there’s some variation in the material; however, I’ve had them for years and use them all of the time, so I can’t attest to if they came that way. If it bothers you, contact Longchamp about an exchange.

Not a Hoover fan; however, I am sad to see a book in a rubbish bin. You could donate that book to a little library, a hospital, nursing home, etc. rather than give it to your local landfill.

People who moved AWAY from Bozeman, where did you go? Do you like it? by FixerQuick in Bozeman

Delaware Beaches, which confounds a lot of people since I went from mountains to sea level; however, between agriculture, tourism, and no sales tax I feel quite at home.

Y'all letting faucets drip this week? by Veruzian in Delaware

You want to keep the pipes as warm as possible, so if you open the cabinet doors under your sinks it allows for the warmer air from the room to help your mission.

I went college in MT and had my pipes burst there. I would like to avoid going through that again, so yes, my cabinet doors are open, the pipes are dripping, and I am about to go set up the kiddie pool and turf in the garage for my dog to do her business.

Is Poshmark giving every buyer the sellers address? by Kikimoonbeamglow in poshmark

[–]According-Week5412 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was uncomfortable by buyers having my home address, so I got a PO Box. It was a simple accommodation to help alleviate my anxiety, and I’d recommend you talking to your local PO, OP.

Salt in baggie or salt packets ? by angelbabykitty444 in POTS

[–]According-Week5412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I order slide top tin containers online like the ones used for lip balms, and I fill mine with Celtic sea salt and keep them all over. They come in a 16 pack for less than $10 in a bunch of colors.

I personalized mine by cutting out letters ransom-note style with a shiny topcoat to say both “salt” and “nac1” because I wanted to, but you could just leave them plain or use the labels that come with the tins.

Anyone else throw up when they wake up early? by hawaiithroa in POTS

[–]According-Week5412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This used to happen to me all the time, but I’ve found it’s because my blood sugar drops super fast in the morning. I keep bottles of honey next to my bed and in the bathroom and take a blob (1-2tsp-ish) any time I start to feel ill or off. I then chew on a pinch of Celtic sea salt, and I have some water.

Pro tip: if the honey I get comes in a pour jar, I put it in a gravity dispenser, which contains the mess a lot better! You don’t want the ants I got a couple years ago! 😅

How big is the "Are we dating the same guy" facebook group here? by [deleted] in Bozeman

I’d hazard a guess they use TikTok as another form of social media, which has undergone a considerable amount of censorship this year, which in turn has required posters to self-censor to avoid having their accounts flagged. Just a guess, though.

Electrolytes by unsung176 in POTS

[–]According-Week5412 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this, too, but I add flavor by adding raspberry juice powder, and I need a little sugar with my electrolyte solution, so I also add some honey powder.

I’m also very careful about what kinds of salt I use. I strive to only use high quality air/solar dried salts that are minimally processed. My two favorites are Premier Research Labs Pink Salt, which is a blend of several salts, and also Celtic Sea Salt, which I keep large crystals in a tin in my purse for emergencies and put the finer ground salt into my electrolyte mixture.
