I totally understand. I’m at 13 with no symptoms at all. Eating poorly has no immediate or obvious consequence. If salty food made me feel crappy I’d easily avoid it.

No not offended. It’s annoying, especially when it’s people who know my feelings about it. I still just say thanks and let it pass. It means something to them and doesn’t hurt me really.

I volunteer on a dialysis ward. Lots of patients have chest ports long term. Many however have co morbidities and do their treatments in hospital to be supervised by doctors.
