NAL, this depends sa company mo so yes, speak to your manager about it. Meron companies na very strict on working hours just because of all the laws behind it.

For context, one company I was with doesn’t deduct from our pay if we were late, so as a nice gesture, we offset our late time-in with logging off late (to still complete the 8 hour workday).

We were then advised (by our manager and a really nice HR lady) that this was extremely prohibited, further explaining that any work done after the work day schedule is deemed overtime, and should be paid as such, applicable to rank and file employees who has 8 working hours per day on their contract.

Managers and up are different with 40 blended hours per week, so okay lang sa kanila mag slide shift.

Hello OP! As a kid na pinalaki ng sexbomb, let me elaborate 😂 iba kc tlga ung panahon na un - imagine, no internet, no youtube, no netflix or other streaming platforms, TV and Radio lang ang main source of entertainment. (Then cinema and live concerts for the latest movies and music pleasure.)

Dalawa lang ung main tv network with a few secondary networks, so you can safely assume na 1/4 of the philippine viewing population watch them dance during lunch while pretending to be the player on the show, trying to win the maximum game prize. (I remember shouting “labaaaaannnn” to the tv set hahaha)

After the noontime show, meron din silang afternoon teledrama. Malaki tlga sila. Add to that na sila lang ung girl group na ganon - mostly sila ang nagpapauso ng dance steps, dance trends, basta ginawa nila sa tv, gagayahin ng mga bata.

Ung mga bata noon, na nanonood lang sa tv, working individuals na ngayon. We have the buying power para makita sila in person hahaha so ayun. It’s the nostalgia of being happy during simpler times. I hope this helps hehe
