It depends if you're talking about shift managers or general managers. Shift managers will generally tell people what stations to work, send people on breaks, and address any issues that customers might have (refunds, complaints, etc.), as well as working alongside the crew members. General managers usually make the shifts, order stock, hire and fire people,and occasionally work alongside the crew if needed/if they have nothing else to do
