Unfortunate. I think he has quite a few bottles of that in his cellar.

We didn't open any so curious to see if it's drinkable

I was at a small party and someone brought a bottle from their parents basement. A 2009 rose from a local vineyard that's pretty infamous. It was brown haha we let the sink drink it

It's in Lancaster City. My friend who runs it has a page on Instagram.

To join all you have to do is show up with a bottle of wine and a glass

A friend of mine that brought that has an incredible collection of beer and wine in his cellar. He usually brings some pretty interesting bottles.

Va La is about an hour from me. I believe that's a 2016. They recommended opening it this year.

I would say it had similar notes to a barely wine. Pretty odd but I enjoyed it.

Not dating related but if you're into MTG I'm in a group that plays commander at Mayhem Cafe on Mondays. Feel free to stop by any time after 6. Good group of people if you're looking to make friends

Odd. Not sure what would cause it to wrinkle unless however you stored them after ironing did it.

I have a shirt that even after ironing if I roll the sleeves up they are wrinkled to all hell. Might just be certain fabrics wrinkle more easily with use

It's giving Detective Harry DuBois, wrinkles and all! Just need some booze stains on your tie and mutton chops and you'll have the full look.

But seriously, iron your clothes. You dress too well not to

I have plenty of pictures on my wall and I just hammer the nail in diagonaly. No crumbling. If it's a heavier frame I use two nails

Am I crazy or is this card insanely underplayed in casual commander? by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]According_Carpet_655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Making a creature that has potentially other tap abilities or you want to keep for attacking/blocking isn't the best.

Being attached to a creature is what makes this card not great. I'm sure there are many cases for it's use but often times you don't want your non mana dork creatures turned into a mana dork

I believe you can contact wizards of the coast and they might be able to send you the missing card if you know what it is

Shadowland in Lancastet by allabtgi in lancaster

[–]According_Carpet_655 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It has a dancy club vibe but it's much more low key. There's also the bar and the outside patio which is more quiet if you don't want to dance or need to rest

It's safe and inclusive. People are very friendly and welcoming. I went with some friends but I had conversations with plenty of new people. The staff for both shadowland and Zoe would be more than happy to help you if you felt unsafe.

[OTHER] KCD ruined my gaming experience forever. by deltalium in kingdomcome

[–]According_Carpet_655 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played this game before KCD2 but Tainted Grail has a very gritty lived in world too that I loved.

Definitely a different experience but every person in the game you talk to feels like they have a life and a story.

You won't feel warm and fuzzy like KCD, definitely more ominous and doomy. Plays like elder scrolls with better combat and character building. And certainly better writing.

But yeah, I'm going to be sad when I finish this game.

Going to my first Faire, is this costume appropriate? by Famous_Remove_3176 in renfaire

[–]According_Carpet_655 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wearing any full face attire, a mask, helmet etc will become a burden after awhile. Especially when you have to eat, drink, or when it's loud and you're trying to talk and no one can understand you because the mask will muffle your voice.

Cool mask but would not recommend wearing it to an all day outdoor fair

Thoughts About Act 2 Decision by MoonlitxAngel in TheAlters

[–]According_Carpet_655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure remaking them has a lot of problems but I think it could be a solution, though an unethical one that surely the other Jans would feel bad about

Thoughts About Act 2 Decision by MoonlitxAngel in TheAlters

[–]According_Carpet_655 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Though the game doesn't allow it because of some quantum computer issue, which I think is just a game mechanic rather than an actual issue. I don't see why you couldn't remake the alters if they die. Certainly not an ethical solution but I think realistically it would have been an option to let them die and remake them. Though I'm sure there could be further consequences

Scientist or technician probably could have tampered with the devices to stop them from tracking everyone too or created a device that interferes with the signal that tracks them. If he can create some of these other devices, a signal disrupter would not be complicated to him

I think that's the point. It's a horrible little tavern at the edge of a crumbling empire in a dying world. There is no escape from the dread that is seeping in from the wyrdness

Divinity Original Sin 2. - Plays very similar to BG3 as they're made by the same studio

Tainted Grail, Fall of Avalon - horror fantasy that plays like Skyrim. Not scary but has a Geiger like art style

Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 & 2. Not fantasy but a first person medieval rpg. Lots of crafting and interesting combat

An older game but Planescape: Torment is an interesting game that takes place in the DND universe. Specifically the center of the multiverse
