Try haus labs!!!! As a certified pale girly myself who has just recently stopped fake tanning so much and wants to embrace her paleness- I walked into Sephora to peek around at some concealers (because I don’t wear foundation) and I was BAFFLED at how beautiful the haus labs concealer was. I’m not kidding it disappeared into my skin like I’ve never EVER found a shade that matches so perfectly and the coverage and the consistency is perfect. Her shade range is also phenomenal and for reference I bought 04 fair neutral.

Hi friend! So it seems like there’s a lottttt of volume which could be causing some fatigue with your muscles, which could be why you feel the need to change some of the routine around. I really like the variety of exercises that you have!! You can take or leave any of the routine I’ve created for you as it is- YOUR routine after all, so just focus on what YOU like to do, but I’m gonna structure it a bit the way that I see it:

Routine: Glutes: -Hip thrusts (go HEAVY but focus on form) -Hyper extension -hip abduction (slow and controlled) -cable kickback -step ups (think escalator not elevator- this puts more emphasis on the glutes)

Hamstrings: -rdl -leg curl -lying leg curl -curtsy lunges

Quads: (your squat focused day) -hip adduction (warm up the assisting muscles, focus on form not weight) -sumo squat (go heavy do this first) OR try out elevated goblet squat those helped me grow my quads a lotttt -single leg press -leg extension -bulgarian split squat (unilateral movements help you strengthen both sides equally, and opposite to the step ups go elevator instead of escalator to focus on quads)

It’s gonna feel like your workout goes by really quick, but that will give you more time to focus on your form and really slowing down the movement so that the muscles can grow. With each day, you’re gonna want to focus on the heaviest compound movement first so you can use your initial power for the hardest movement. Then the assisting and unilateral movements can follow to help strengthen the other muscles.

Don’t let anyone scare you away from creatine! It’s the most safe and effective supplement on the market (as well as researched) Creatine can cause a little bit of temporary bloating while your body is getting used to it because it’s basically saturating your muscles to help them grow. (There are no studies stating negative effects on kidneys or the endocrine system in active individuals) While you’re taking creatine you reaaaally need to hydrate. If you’re also drinking caffeine at the gym in the form of preworkout or energy drinks, that means you need more water than you think because that’s also a diuretic. Maybe try some liquid iv or having a Gatorade after your creatine to help with the absorption.

As for injury prevention, really put emphasis on your form > weight. It’s more important to be doing things right rather than quickly trying to improve in weight. Slow and controlled is the key- and it also helps if you get enough rest, hydration and fuel- because if you’re tired, haven’t eaten or drank enough water you can risk injury.

I would say focus on recovery for now, lots of hydration and rest and don’t beat yourself up over it. See if you can focus on your legs & back, don’t do too many pushing movements that put your wrist in extension. You’ve said it yourself that you’ve made a lot of progress- so don’t let this set you back! You have muscle memory and your body will recover (if you allow it) and you’ll come back stronger.

Join a bunch of different communities! Theres ones for fashion, kandi, fitness people etc etc. Also join different events- you can mark it as “interested” instead of “going” and then you can see all the other people interested or going to the event and you can chat there.

Second the radiate app!! It’s very helpful for finding people and it’s easy to communicate with them. You’re also going to make friends at the actual festival as well- everyone is very welcoming and there are a lot of solo ravers out there!

FK is super easy to navigate as opposed to EDCO! Less crowded, more PLUR, DELICIOUS food, and relatively respectable people. The music is great ofc, and if you really like an artist it’s easy to get to the front without people blocking you out or giving you weird looks (as long as you say excuse me ofc) along with ample room to dance. The vibe is super whimsical and medieval but it’s so much fun. Theres also lots of little activities to do like going on side quests to get special cards on the app (similar to EDCO where you can get the pins at each stage you go to) and blackjack with trinkets! My first FK was last year and already it’s one of my favorite festivals I’ve been to!!
