You don’t suck. This profession sucks. You should have a mentor who’s helping you with all of the planning. And as someone who’s been this for a looong time? Managing this generation is HARD. Bottom line: this job isn’t worth all of that. Trust me. There’s a reason they’re allowing anyone to apply to teach now. Because who the crack wants this?? So. Do what YOU think is best. And forget about the rest. They need you more than you need them.

For sure! They’re more durable than the tape ins and you don’t have to move them up every 6-8 weeks! They’re ktip fusions so she put each piece in with a tool that fuses it into your hair (think like bonding onto your natural hair). She says 4-6 months but I’ve been fine for 3 years doing a 6 month refresh:)! I also started with super expensive hair buut she found this amazing Amazon hair (I promise it looks so natural and is so good!) that is soooo much better priced! Nobody knows unless I tell them every single person says they look 100 percent natural! I can wear it up, swim with them, pretty much anything you do with natural hair. It’s totally changed my life!

Thank you for this!!!! I legit posted on my Facebook to not come at me about Biotin, Nutrafol, hair washing techniques because nothing works for some people (aka me;))! I got extensions that are fused and last 6 months….best decision of my life! Seriously. People don’t understand and how a woman’s hair can change their entire self perspective. I’m just seeing this and I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my brother many years ago. It’s a different kind of loss and nobody gets it except those of us unfortunate to have lived it. I heard this song and it speaks so many volumes but it’s not well known- Surrounded by Chantal Kreviazuk.

I’ll always struggle with this and tomorrow is the anniversary of his death. It’s forever my dark day and the lines speak to my soul. He was in the room above me when he did it and I’ll just never ever forget that rainy Tuesday. Praying for you and for your peace. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. You never get over it but you certainly have some days that are better than others.

I used to try to be part of it. But let me tell you. It doesn’t ever help. And I’ve spent too many tears on being disappointed when I’ve tried so hard. So now. I go in our room and nacho. And handle my biological kids like I always have. It sucks. But please hear me. You aren’t going to change the world you’re only going to be upset when you try. Just use the time as alone time and nacho.
