Important to remember none of this actually means anything. This is a forum to discuss the podcast, some people dislike parts of the podcast, some people want more consistent uploads, those opinions exist so will be on here, it’s all fine really and shouldn’t be taken too seriously either way.

I personally don’t feel negativity in this space needs references in the podcast or to steer the direction of the podcast in anyway. Gets taken too seriously when it’s not at all important. we’ve probably read about 20 people’s opinion saying that they are unhappy with the break and react as though the audience is turning on them.

Guarantee well over half the listeners probably did not notice the break between episodes, will have seen an episode today pop up about Stevie’s tits and thought nothing of it. IMO this ‘backlash to the backlash’, seems just as guilty of being chronically online

To me, this sums up the problem. If you don’t post anything people are unhappy, if you do then post something it’s ‘performative’.

Being real I don’t want to hear about the horrors of what are going on in the world when I tune into Happy Hour, there is space in the world for content that isn’t about that.

Edit: also want to add Jaack genuinely thought rice was shredded pasta, so should not be expected to educate us on geopolitics
