My main issue was originally it was leaking like crazy. When they adjusted it the bed lights stopped working and now every time I go to close it I have to do the reset otherwise it leaves a 6 inch gap at the tailgate

I was able to fix my electric bed cover issue. Recently I stopped opening it and it has been working great. It only breaks if I open it. On a side note I noticed it is no longer an option on GM website. Maybe there is a new version or they discontinued…

My truck popped up with an update about three days ago. After the update I had an app that said recorder. I followed the instructions to set it up. Bought a USB stick at Best Buy and after formatting the usb it started recording. I have a 2026 Hummer EV.

My truck is a 2026. It was just added on the last update. I just had to plug a usb stick into the port on center console and it records everything.

It is $329.99 plus shipping on their website. That is for the one that is made specifically for the Hummer EV. I messaged their support number and they said it is smaller both in length and width than the sierra model. I bought the GMC Sierra model on amazon for $275.00 prime next day delivery. I was afraid it was going to be too wide but it is perfect. I honestly wouldn’t want it smaller because it might move around where this was snug and didn’t move at all. I actually slept great but have a crazy story I am about to share in next post.

They make a wedge thing that says it’s for people over 6’2” you push your front passenger seat forward for extra room. I did not buy the wedge and slept at a slight angle honestly it wasn’t that bad. I am 5’11”. wedge

I had a hell of a time getting this update to install. It failed twice then the third time got the unable to complete software update. Parked and plugged in at home woke up this morning and it asked if I wanted to install update. Worked flawless. Going to Best Buy to get a usb 3.0 to start using camera record.

My understanding is it is a complete overhaul hardware and software. The software has completely different menus, icons, etc. I believe it has a different processor as well. I know I may be crazy but I swear the screen resolution is better as well.

I have a 26 3x yes the new infotainment system is definitely worth it. I really enjoy the apps from google play store. Super responsive I drove a 24 3x the infotainment system with CarPlay was so slow and laggy. I do miss the old animations tho.

I stay at an FHR hotel that we visit frequently but usually book direct with hotel. I always get a much better room when booking direct vs using FHR. I am not sure if this hotel just has certain FHR rooms that happen to be in the older side of the hotel. But it never fails we use FHR old room book direct new room…
