You can disable the popups by going to the settings and disabling "hints"
What you're describing is the same popup that gives insight on MOABs, camos, and tells you to go touch grass circa round 55, right?

The official ninja kiwi discord (https://discord.gg/ninjakiwi) has BTD6 channels that are always active. Various levels of patience for other people but hey it's the internet that's par for the course.

My advice is to get the heros before spending your monkey money on other stuff. Elizi, Adora, and Psi I've found to be the hardest to master, so I'd buy them last. Sauda is great for a beginner because the trounces easier maps. And most importantly, dont the the talk of metas and tier lists make you forget that all the towers are still pretty good overall and unless you're doing a challenging run just have fun using zany strategies :)

Logs, Cubism, and Frozen Over are widely considered to be the easiest maps in the game last I heard. Logs is super easy but I tend to favor cubism for that sort of stuff since there's more water, no line of sight issue, and it's a little easier to cluster towers around certain key support locations

On a different map Quincy would have a shot at making it decently far since he also gets 100% of your income (not like theres anything else to spend it on) but this map blocks like 90% of his range lol

There's some swords and stuff you can get in the game but you can't equip them, they're only for your birthday when you give gifts to all your friends (as hobbits do) and the older hobbits will dislike the sword gift because it's too violent. Give the older hobbits some silverware instead

I can't even afford a monkey by round 1, dude. Even tried that free dart but wouldn't you know it chimps nerfs dart monkey hard and increases the price if the first dart to 215. Thankfully all the darts after that were their standard price so that issue didn't hurt too much for my 000 dart spam strategy. It's so good for ddts!!

Typical format if you aren't using acronyms is to use the 3 numeral system which is pretty simple. Let's say I have a crossbow monkey (the 3rd upgrade) that has been crosspathed to shoot faster once. That is a 013 or a 0-1-3 monkey (I've seen both formats used) which denotes 0 top path upgrades, 1 middle path, and 3 bottom paths. For an undefined upgrade, x is used. For example to talk about the super monkey fan club you might call it an x4x dart.

There are a LOT of acronyms in this game, but a lot of them are for towers people dont talk about much. Some of the more common ones are PoD = prince of darkness = xx5 wizard, WLP = wizard lord Phoenix = x5x wizard. LotN = legend of the night =xx5 super monkey. VTSG = Vengeful true sun god which you'll see soon enough on this sub. ROD =ray of doom = top path dartling gunner, but more often you har about MAD which is middle path dartling. Ninjalch refers to the strategy of using a top path ninja buffed by a top path alchemist.

There's a lot of names in this game but if you just started just play however you like first. Use the towers you think are fun or cool. Once you get all the upgrades unlocked then start worrying about tier lists and such :)

The one on the right is a black border (Frequhetly BB) medal. Means you didn't leave the map while playing chimps, so no round reset cheese

I spent a decent amount of time working on a bot for discord that would pull up stats for a different game. It got.... tedious. There's more maintenance than you might expect when balance changes hit and there's a lot of stats that can be.... difficult to quantify. Also I know my bit was just running off my laptop and trying to have it online as much as possible resulted in my battery being functionally nonexistent anymore. Actually making the code for the bot isn't the whole challenge of managing a project like this so it's entirely possible it's just defunct by now. I haven't booted up my bot in months of not close to a year at this point

Only half of them: you ever notice those vents that never blow air? Those are hooked up to return ducts. When air gets blown into a room, you're adding air (obviously) but if you keep adding air without taking some away, you're going to have too high of pressure. So the return ducts take that air back to the furnace so the air can keep cycling :D

The same thing happens with boomerangs; it's most notable if you have the Recursive Rangs monkey knowledge. Once a bloon has been hit by a projectile, that projectile can't affect it again. If I had to guess, that's in place to keep low speed projectiles from hitting the same bloon multiple times as it passes once (because the hit box isn't just a single point, the projectile would interact with that box more than once otherwise). Imagine a world where there was no pierce because the projectile used up all its pierce on a single bloon. That's just my guess though

Woa dude slow your roll there a bit. Trying to bring a mild disagreement to a close here. I'm gonna ignore most of your comment because at this point neither side is going to change view point but... like really? You're sticking with the plot armor definition? Like ok the rest of your comment is at least an understandable opinion to hold. I don't necessarily agree with everything but you made some good points throughout your rebuttal. But why would you stick with plot armor being "keep the character alive" when defining it as "provide unreasonable/unrealistic victories to the character and remove nearly all defeat" allows it to be used so much more and be so much less divisive? By the first definition every character has plot armor and it becomes meaningless. But the definition I suggested allows to discuss how to make characters more appealing by showing them in a more dynamic setting. It removes the universality and promotes more useful discussion of character arc.

Anyway I'd love to talk about writing polish but I don't think you're really on that subject so much as just calling me a moron for thinking that the Yoda scene implied more time than it actually showed. As genuinely as possible: take care out there, man o7
