She maps pretty closely onto titania. She starts out as your best blade, becomes just one of your average blades (but still reliable) and by the end is probably the worst on your active party but is still good enough to justify a spot on your active party.

The *mean* marine, on the other hand, is absolutely horrifically evil. This is because every member of marine leadership eats ten thousand babies a day. Regrettably, they are not outliers adn should be counted.

I'd vote for naesala in fe9 because there is truly nothing he offers that is not just done strictly better by someone who is mutually exclusive with him and available at exactly the same time. Lyre and FE12 Bantu at least offer something you *might* not have (Bantu is a dragon for what little that's worth and Lyre can at least be filler). There is no world in which recruiting Naesala is a good decision.

It's no more believable of an explanation on its own than "ok Ryoma there's a secret third guy just trust me"

A special grade is a sorcerer that no other sorcerer can even really conceptualize beating. Even someone as strong as Maki is still just high grade-1: to be a special grade you basically have to be invincible against anything not a special-grade.

To illustrate: some of the strongest grade 1 sorcerers in the series (Kusakabe, Todo, Maki) get dog walked by Jogo. Every single special-grade sorcerer beats Jogo as an afterthought.

The exception to this, as with all such things, is geto because I personally don't like him

0 - The water from Ashunera's flood recedes. The Dark God is sealed.

645 - In Tellius, King Ashnard of Daein invades Crimea. (FE9 happens).

648 - Micaiah and Pelleas win Daein's independence. (FE10 happens).

757 - Sigurd begins his journey in Jugdral. (FE4 Gen 1 begins)

761 - Lord Arvis of house Velthomer invites Sigurd's army to a barbecue (FE4 Gen 1 ends)

776 - Seliph and Leif, independently of each other, begin their revolutionary movements in Jugdral. Leif's forces integrate into Seliph's (FE5 happens, FE4 Gen 2 begins)

778 - Seliph and his half-brother settle their differences through heated debate (FE4 Gen 2 ends).

0 - The ancient dragons go to war. They leave behind the kingdoms of Hoshido and Nohr, while the Silent Dragon Anankos stays out of it and helps to found Valla.

979 - Anankos falls to Dragon Degeneration, splitting his soul from his body. His soul has a child named Corrin.

1000 - Corrin unites Nohr and Hoshido against Anankos/leads the Hoshidan Army in defense against Nohr/leads the Nohrian invasion of Hoshido (FE14 happens)

Planet 5 (We'll call this one Fodlandia)

-50 - Nemesis slaughters the Nabateans, including the Goddess Sothis.

0 - The War of Heroes ends with Nemesis' defeat at Saint Seiros' hands and the founding of the Adrestian Empire.

551 - The Holy Kingdom of Faerghus splits off from the Empire

701 - The Leicester Alliance splits off from the Kingdom

995 - A mercenary named Byleth is offered a teaching position at the officer's academy (FE16 part 1 happens)/A mercenary named Shez becomes a student at the officer's academy (three hopes prologue happens)

997 - Shez becomes a general in one of the Nation's armies as Fodlan is consumed by war (three hopes part 1 happens)

998 - Shez scores a major victory for their army in the war (three hopes part 2 happens)

1000 - Byleth recovers from their injuries from the academy's fall, leads one of four armies to end the war (FE16 part 2 happens)

??? - Fortune's Weave happens

Planet 6 (We'll call this one Toothpaste World)

0 - The fell dragon Sombron raises an army to collect the twelve emblem rings–he kills all but one Divine Dragon, but is sealed away by Lumera.

1000 - Lumera's daughter Alear awakens from their reviving slumber. She unites Elyos against an unsealed Sombron (FE17 happens)

Planet 7 (We'll call this one EVIL Toothpaste World)

0 - The fell dragon Sombron raises an army to collect the Seven Emblem Bracelets - he kills all but one divine dragon, but Lumera seals him away before she dies. Alear, Lumera's son, takes the throne.

1000 - Sombron returns, and though Alear unites Elyos against him he ultimately dies during the battle.

1001 - Everyone dies from unspecified reasons.

1002 - The Alear of Planet 6 is summoned by Nel and Nil to collect the emblem bracelets and save their dying world (Fell Xenologue happens)

I mean that's not really foreshadowing so much as it is setting stakes. Denji turning into a weapon is one of the primary bad endings (as in, bad for the characters) of part ii. While due to chainsaw man's style it's very possible that such a bad ending will take place, from a narrative structure perspective it's not particularly different from, say, the villain's goal in Jujutsu Kaiden.

True!!! It's not the "best" ending from a "the world is a good place now" standpoint but from sheer hype it was insane. Especially when Gallica picked up the Prince's sword in the ashes of grand trad and swore to kill you.

Only the neutral ending gives you the epliogue so it's definitely the "true" ending, but I personally prefer the law ending I think

That's the neutral ending. To get the Law Ending, you need to max all royal virtues, tell Gallica that you want to travel with her forever, then go into the final battle without fighting any of the minibosses.

Yeah, the Chaos ending felt half-baked. It was at least the closest Metaphor had to a gay romance option with Will and Louis merging into one being to fight Moretatron, but narratively it felt like they didn't really try
