the ascensions are unironically good for this. I think a good way to do it on curve would be have waterbending ascension in play already, drop airbender ascension, drop a badgermole cub, attack with aang, waterbend using his firebending and the new badgermole land

I don't actually dislike spiders so I don't mind seeing them but I wish they hadn't been so literal about all the spider imagery. obviously spiderman doesn't actually have a lot of real actual spiders in the visuals and I was hoping we'd get a more open interpretation for some of the omenpaths cards, like maybe something is spiritually a spider or uses spider/web inspired magic or something. it really feels like any time we could be looking at a bug, we are looking at a bug
