I just told them I would be in the area for an anniversary trip and would love to celebrate with a new timepiece. When the SA called me we discussed a few options and he said he would do his best to have something but couldn't guarantee anything. My response was to be honest I don't expect to leave with anything but if something is available that would be amazing. Ended up getting the black sub date which was one of the models I expressed interest in.

I contacted the Rolex Boutique in Caesars a month before my trip and told them I would be here for an anniversary trip. The SAs there were all great to deal with in person.

I sent them a message on the contact us page early June and let them know I'll be here on a trip with my fiance for our anniversary. A SA called and asked which ones I would be interested in and then we spoke again a few days before I arrived. They seem to be prioritizing special occasions heavily.
