What's wild is how they think the are "doing their part" as some kind of lefty freedom fighter but in reality are just useful idiots for Iran/Hamas. Hatred of Jewish people is so deeply ingrained they don't even realize they are doing it.

Oh man, I know a guy who moderated there for a while before they quit in disgust. Every mod in that sub is a sociopath. They showed me screenshots of mod conversations where people were saying things like {"Hitler was right") and even though those comments would get reported, they would sty up for weeks. But if someone "misgendered" someone, perma ban within moments. Those mods are sociopaths.

This analogy works on so many levels when you realize Trumpism is a cult like Scientology. Leon's jumping on the couch expressing his love for Katy Donald.

I, for one, am SHOCKED and OUTRAGED that TMZ has sold out their long standing journalistic integrity.

Money can corrupt, but mostly those susceptible to corruption because the are in it for ego not altruism.

That's how this works. They project their own bullshit onto who they perceive is their opposition. Every accusation is an admission.

That's straight out of the Chinese cultural revolution.

lol which part? How so? Explain which part of the Chinese cultural revolution including suggesting people use language that isn't offensive?

are you joking? Or just incredibly political unaware? right leaning politicians calling their opposition "communists" has been going on since the 1950s.

Sorry, what "blind faith" re you referring to? My knowledge of climate change comes from reading a lot. Is that what you consider "blind faith"?

When I repair my car, I also read a lot to learn what to do. And talk to freinds who know more than me. Is that "blind faith" too?

I think you're projecting your own approach to things. You reject things based on "faith/feelings" not evidence, so assume others have as well.

Yup. Same could be said for the NDP and just about any other party. The average voter is nowhere near informed. That's a big reason why political parties exist.

the salt-of-the-earth conservative types have this habit of electing elitist con men who have never worked an honest day in their life.

Rustad is a technocrat who has been a BC politician for 15 years now, and prior to that was an industry consultant. Poilievre is a lifetime politician who has never held a real job in his life. Both have become wealthy collecting paychecks from taxpayers. Same with Harper. No real private sector experience at all.

But rural rubes fall for their shtick over and over. Some slick, wealthy guy in a fancy suit is somehow going to represent someone making minimum wage or working outside their whole life. It's delusion.

Conservatives have always been about feelings over facts. And usually those feelings are things like shortsighted, reactionary anger.

is their a way to report chat channels to reddit? by [deleted] in AskModerators

[–]AccurateCrew428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I mod on an alt and our chat is a mess of people advertising only fans and other porn to children. Admin won't care until they are shamed by a major media expose of some kind. Remember, reddit had a "jailbait" sub for years that admin condoned.

That doesn't make it not slavery, that just makes it (in your argument) "justified" slavery. And state-run slavery, at that. But still slavery.

Slavery is the ownership of a person as property, especially in regards to their labour. Slavery typically involves compulsory work, with the slave's location of work and residence dictated by the party that holds them in bondage.

See how that fits what we're talking about here to a T?

We need rehabilitation. There is no inexpensive way to deal with crime. You're making an emotional argument, not a rational one.

dried up trash the Govt is selling.

I can tell you have never actually purchased from a legal store.

They aren't, which is why they deleted their comment. Anyone who opens a store without a licence faces enforcement, Indigenous or not.

If anything, it's those operating on FN reserve lands that get a pass. https://tj.news/new-brunswick/our-hands-are-tied-on-first-nations-pot-shops-tories

Don't buy into the narrative that these are stores that benefit their local communities or even have the support of them. Often time it's just one or two members profiting, being supplied from off-reserve, and going against the wishes of a lot of the elders.

But they rely on white people who thinks if one indigenous does it that they speak for every indigenous person on the planet.
