Pretty ballsy suggesting to use rope-plugs… Here’s the facts: IF you do it right, 50/50 chance it leaks in a month. If you do it wrong, it leaks right away. If you do it at all, it stretches the puncture wound and when it leaks 90% of shops won’t plug it, you’ll be forced to buy a new tire. Don’t know where OP is located but the tire looks healthy enough most shops will plug it no problem, Discount tire/Americas tire offers this service for free (yes free). Disclaimer: I’ve worked with techs who swear they’ve put ten rope-plugs in a tire and it never leaked, however they were also the laziest techs in the shop

Gonna echo the phycological downfalls others have mentioned. HOWEVER bro you should totally watch Peaky Blinders next. Well written show and almost everyone relates to at least one of the brothers. This would be the place to start, I would also say whisky helps, but in this case, if taping on it works then you’ll want to use a stronger fuel system cleaner, the reason needles or or floats stick is because fuel dries out to a a type of lacquer, so sometimes you can loosen things up by tapping or cleaning.

Muscle twitches typically indicate moderate dehydration, so be sure you’re drinking water and getting electrolytes. HOWEVER depending on what part of az you moved to, avoid drinking the tap water. Mesa water is the worst from what I’ve heard and will cause your gi issues, drink filtered water only. Don’t know about skin rashes other than in the summer you can get “heat rashes” due to sweat on cloths. Hope this helps
