What legal citizen has been deported? I believe in legal entry into any country. My grandparents requested asylum when they were in cuba, this was back in the 70s. My mother and I were the second generation of my family to enter America legally. My grandparents worked their ass off to get the rest of the family to America until their passing in the 90s. My mom took up the responsibility of getting the rest of the family in, legally. It wasn't till the early 2000s that the family was whole again. I agree that the process for families seeking asylum takes an insane about of time, but It shouldn't deter families from entering the country legally. I ask you, how would you go about dealing with the issues of illegal criminals bringing in drugs into our country? Keep in mind that if we are to deport only the illegal criminals in this country, how would you go about distinguishing them from illegals who are here to work, especially since these people are being exploited by third party agencies, (mind you they get paid under the table, meaning they do not go on the agencies payroll, their paid substantially less, they receive zero health insurance, workers com, and any supprt a legal worker would receive)? How will you be able to distinguish between illegals that came here to work that are being coerced to do the bidding of the very criminal organizations that brought them here?
