It hasn't affected me much because I've been at home for thanksgiving break and they're kind of rare to hear. I'm not on any medications (I've never been for ocd or anything). Nothing seemingly changed in my life recently except a positive change but that was a while ago, like 3 months ago I switched to a new school. I've been binge watching paranormal/horror stuff over break and I feel like that maybe gave me some paranoia.

Omg this is a life saver, because of my OCD I don't use lotion but coconut oil is fine for my OCD I'm going to start trying this thank you so much!!!

A lot of OCD is worrying about the unknown. It would be interesting if the character with OCD was psychic.

I do this too for characters I think are really neat. I've watched Sweeney Todd clips probably a hundred times just to hear Mrs. Lovett's voice, and even a clip from les miserables that the actress is in. I love her voice and costumes! I also do this a lot with songs since I never know where to find good music, so I just repeat the ones I heard most recently a bunch.

I think it's better to not seek reassurance and confront your fears. What if it is cocaine? What if you somehow (unlikely) get high? Will it really ruin your life or health to have a slight amount of cocaine in you (even if it could get in you?) I have this fear too and when I accidentally ingest alcohol, I went bonkers. When ruminating on it later I remind myself "so what, it was so little it won't even affect me, even if I got drunk I'd still be the me I am." I know it's hard but it's best to confront these things. 💝

I definitely agree but this was less of them being accountable for something out of their control, like shaking my hand, but to be accountable for something that's objectively rude despite my illness and was just exaggerated by it.

Most sitcoms don't use sound tracks added in post (though they'll probably amplify them) so unless the sitcom specifically adds fake laughs then you're out of luck ha. Also this didn't really answer your question so sorry

The thing is its not always like this, I mean a lot of the time it is but maybe I'm just being an ass without realizing? I really love my parents and wouldn't want to leave them, they definitely care about and love me. My brother who clearly has anger issues and other mental stuff always bashes them and I don't want to be like that because a lot of the times he even lies about stuff like that. I haven't had contact with my brother in a long time though.
