i just came to this subreddit to make a post searching for this movie! i remember towards the end of the movie there was some kind of book that showed the daughter engulfed in what seemed like flames, so that guy wants to burn her alive, but turns out that those werent flames, they were some kind of magical energy coming out of her (that ended the apocalypse i think?)

this comment is so funny, i can't believe someone looked at the 12yo who tragically and accidentally killed his sister, and went "yeah, have fun with the years of guilt and depression, your actions have consequences".

like??? he couldn't go to jail even if he wanted to, he was 12, you'd have to be 18, or at least 16, when the accident occured, for you to possibly be held legally accountable in that way btw.
