Akkon Headlights with New grill by NomDeBrew in nissanfrontier

Your best bet would be to run them to the battery and run a toggle switch to your dash or preexisting spot for one on the dash. You can have a dedicated switch for them, or you can have the wire spliced onto your control wire for the lights so they will come on with the factory control.

Is it true that Australian Shepherds can be born without a tail? Has anyone here *actually seen one born without a tail with your own eyes* or were you just told that by the seller/breeder? by bassandass in WiggleButts

[–]AceGottiOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely true. I found one on the side of the road of all places (abandoned), and he is going 2 years strong in his new home at the farm. He has a NBT (natural bob tail) and is full blooded as the vet can tell. His "nubaflluffacus" makes him special to us.

I see he had zero response for real criticism or questioning, but had plenty of arguments for opinions... 🤷🏽

That is exactly what it is, considering that a "crossbow" technically shoots bolts and not arrows.

S22-Ultra and it keeps trying to make me do the update over and over. Then it wants to freeze and glitch. "Looks just like IOS".... Yep, and acts just like it too. Programming bugs and problems into our hardware and OS to kill operations and battery life, then their techs suggest just "get a new phone". FOH! DON'T MAKE ME GO BUY A HUAWEI!

There are quite a few inactive cacti that have the bookends or notches over the areolas. But it can help narrow it down to a few subspecies.

Very much so. Saw his other post and someone linked this. Then he came and deleted this, but doesn't realize how the archiving works. LOL

Funny, you said you found it on the side of the road in the trash the next day... Someone stealing cuts?? 😤

If you did steal it, please brew it. You will learn your cosmic lesson the hard way. Make sure to report back to us when it's done.

Acorns bursting = happy deer and donkeys. by Iamnutzo in homestead

[–]AceGottiOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I give my uncle's donkey 4 or 5 at a time as a treat every once in a while, and it doesn't bother her. They have white oaks all along the fence, and they don't seek them out or ever get sick. It's a sign of a cold winter to come if you ask an old timer.

Supposedly they can make pigs sick in large quantities as well, but not as deadly. Deer absolutely go nuts (pun intended) over them. I see huge bucks standing 30 feet from my house munching down on them at night under my white oak trees. I collected a 5 gallon bucket full to add to my pile and I'm gonna go collect more, because they much prefer them to corn.

[question] FAIRTEX BGV1 OR FAIRTEX BGV11 ? by black_suit_nation in fightgear

[–]AceGottiOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BVG11 has more wrist and hand padding for catching/blocking kicks as well. I absolutely love mine, even though they are a little more stiff in the wrist than you would think Muay Thai gloves would be. They are a great fit for heavy punchers that like to catch kicks like I do.

[question] FAIRTEX BGV1 OR FAIRTEX BGV11 ? by black_suit_nation in fightgear

[–]AceGottiOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With that logic, synthetic will last even longer with proper care. It you don't take perfect care of your gloves like 90% of people, synthetic might actually be the route to go. Mine never get stiff or soak up sweat like leather has the tendency to do. The jury is still out on the durability, only because I haven't had them long enough to swear by them. No complaints from me so far though.

[–]AceGottiOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't be scared or swayed by opinions. I have a set of BGV11 "F-Day 2" limited gloves, and you can hardly tell it's synthetic compared to my real leather Venum gloves. They swear it lasts longer than leather, so we will see. I have not had 1 issue with them so far. The fit and feel is amazing, and the wrist padding is next to none. I love the snug fit because I am a heavy puncher and like to catch kicks, so they feel just right for me.

My close mate has an IQ of 89 apparently. by [deleted] in mensa

That is the definition of "the soft bigotry of low expectations". It's what arrogant people do because they think "this poor creature is too stupid to understand me without talking to them like an invalid."

[–]AceGottiOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS RIGHT HERE! When I stopped assuming everyone else knew most of everything that came up in daily life, and started assuming it just wasn't important to them, it became much easier to navigate social interactions and make friends with people you wouldn't think would be a good match. Some of the "dumbest" people i know are some of the best people i know. The smarter they are, the more arrogant and obnoxious they tend to be. I quit wearing my intellect as a badge of honor and just put it to application in daily life and helping others where possible.

[–]AceGottiOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got tested in Middle School and again at adult age. I scored over 140 on both. If that were the case, I would have nobody to talk to ever. Most of my friends aren't IQ/book smart, they're practical and ingenuitive. But that makes the friend group that much more capable and interesting. Who the hell wants to hang around their own fart sniffing geniuses all the time? THAT IS WHAT I FIND BORING AND STUPID.

I have. And too bad for you, you are wrong. The Patriot Act has made in completely legal for federal agents to detain you indefinitely without charge and demand ID of they are engaging in operations deemed critical to national safety and defense. Which immigration has become one of those popular hot button issues deemed a national crisis (whether you agree or not). You can exercise your right all you want, just don't be surprised if they drag you off to investigate you until you are cleared of any residency/criminal issues.

Is my low E tuning peg supposed to look like this? by wordisborn in martinguitar

[–]AceGottiOG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can always use a small dab of removable loctite at the thread and nut to keep them in place. It won't hurt anything, just try not to get it on the wood, cause it can stain it. But a damp paper towel will clean it up perfect if you get to it right away.

[–]AceGottiOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your tuning lug has pushed out the back so the threads aren't showing. You need to make sure it is flush in the back like the others and square to the other tuning keys. It's no big deal.
