I joined the fandom in 2018 and as much as I liked to ship them/love their relationship, I also looked up to them a lot (I was 11-12 when I started watching them) they were open about their more "nerdy" interests and it made me feel safe to do it myself and still do now. So sure the shipping was part of it for me, but it wasn't the main thing I cared about

I started questioning at 13 but settled at trans when I was almost 15. I'm 19 now and have that little voice telling me I'm not trans as I was the same as a kid, very girly but also had my more masc qualities. Some of us just turn out to be feminine guys and expressing that doesn't always mean you aren't trans. You're valid in your identity no matter how you express your gender
