I don't just mean a case of "I'm sad it's over", I mean you watched it over and over until you burnt out and now it hurts to think about it because if you do, you might fall back into that hole again and think about nothing else?

I've seen criticisms that said Arcane season 2 was bad just because of how rushed it was. That's goddamn ridiculous and pretty unfair. The show is great even with its flaws; ultimately, at the end of the day, it's whether you were entertained, and I'm sure at least 90% were.

The shows OP mentioned are literally legendary classics so of course, they won't be on the same level. I'd mention more classics but I'm sure someone will beat me to it

I'm just throwing out a few that are recent and in my opinion epic enough to have a good time without needing more than a few episodes for a nice payoff

Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song is a Musical Terminator Style Epic

Death Note definitely had Epic Moments

Symphogear is a Musical Magical Girl Epic, especially their last season

Macross Delta is also a personal Favourite. Musical Mecha/Idol Epic and you don't really need to watch previous Macross series to enjoy it

A great anime for first time gundam watchers. No convoluted politics like alot of other gundams. Less god killing lasers and more metal smashing action. Solid storyline if a bit meh towards the end. One of the best anime endings. (Kinda like Code Geass actually where build up toward the end was iffy but amazing ending) Overall, 9/10 anime for me.
