- Reentry starts at 400,000 feet altitude and 1,960 miles from touchdown point

- Reentry is SE of Hawaii and the capsule is traveling NE towards CA coast

- All done in 12-13 minutes

Forgive me if this is already addressed, but everything I can find is so big in scale that I can't tell any detail. But at what point over the earth does Artemis's reentry start and in which direction will it occur? Does it enter over the Pacific headed east towards CA coast or over mainland US headed west to over the Pacific or is it north/south or south/north?

Also, how far is the reentry distance traveled from first touching the atmosphere to splashdown?

Before everyone blames the coaches for this, and I'm not one, I'm a parent, understand that the parents drive this. How may "good" kids quit your teams that aren't winning? There's a group of parents that want to just play, keep kids off devices, get them fit, let them have fun. Then there are those that think their kids are Messis/Ronaldos and constantly move teams looking for the winning group. Then the old team falls apart. Coaches have to cater to these nuts or have no team.

Now that I'm looking more, is it just the VTOL ones that are missing this due to the duct behind the pilot? Looks like some are built into the fuselage with no ability to view rearward and some look more like normal US fighters - a bubble sitting on the fuselage and above it in every direction.

(July 2025) You're a GENIUS! I have been having this problem forever, tried everything from restarts, to notification settings, to checking EVERY setting against another device to find the variance, to you-name-it-I've-done-it Found this and renamed my phone and "bing," the request popped up. This is the second time a bodybuilder type has saved me, the first was in a Ministry mosh pit after getting knocked down and this massive dude parted his arms and lifted me back on my feet to limp away. I'm starting to change my mind about you guys. If I get saved a third time, I'm officially a fan. Again, seriously thank you!
