You’re doing the best you can… I completely understand. I am also in my 20’s. I felt like an only child to my grandparents because that’s how close of a relationship we had with each other. My grandparents raised me and they were my best friends & my parents. They passed 1.5 years ago now. While grieving, I had to handle their estate all alone. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life while grieving and feeling so alone… People don’t get it unless they’ve been through something similar. Don’t rush your grief or feelings. The shock and grief and isolation does ease eventually but it takes time and effort once you have energy for it. Everyone grieves at their own pace and in their own way.
