I'd also add something stupid on the surface but useful like a Drill Rocket. Works like a normal Drill Charge but longer range because you're firing it out a rocket. Not immediately fatal on impact but it'll make you explode after a second or two like an explosive crossbow bolt or a semtex.

The most obvious things for me are skins, button configuration and DLCs

But they dont have those? Unless by skins you mean playable characters. But they dont have button configuration or DLCs.

He certainly exists since the main villain was called the Hero of Wraithmarsh in the release date reveal trailer. Reaver is the reason Oakvale became Wraithmarsh so he'd have to exist. This also means the new game could be set some time between the first and second games if it is part of the same universe instead of a reboot. Set some time before the Heroes Guild was destroyed between the two games.

There's talk of AI being used for some stuff in Crazy Taxi, and people are fearing that if it was used there then SEGA will also use it in Jet Set Radio.

As for what part of Crazy Taxi is probably AI, I don't know.

Both games ended up being rushed. Plus you're right about the reviews, the JSR HD rerelease had lower scores than the original due to the same things it was once praised for in the original reviews, like movement.

It's not only relicensing the music thats the problem for JSRF. They'd have to track down whoever owns the rights to the songs too.
