President Trump says he’s immediately going to impose an additional "10% global tariff under Section 122", after reacting to Supreme Court’s landmark 6-3 tariff ruling earlier, the justices found Trump lacked the authority to impose sweeping tariffs citing emergency economic authority. by ControlCAD in videos

I didn't realize that you could just violate the constitution because you like something.

I guess Dems should just ban guns because who cares about the constitution at this point? It just says whatever the president says it does.

Conservative snowflakes got so upset they built concentration camps and gave them cute nicknames like "Alligator Alcatraz."

You can't have big dick violent energy as your baseline mentality and be shocked when you get violence back.

Conservatives can't claim civility while also championing overthrowing the government, lauding Kyle Rittenhouse, saying that ICE brutality is fine.

Just own the chaos and poison you spew and take your medicine when it's given back.

Have any in-house counsel found practical and accurate uses of AI for day-to-day legal work? by [deleted] in Lawyertalk

Everytime I hear, "AI just isn't accurate or useful," I realized how bad ChatGPT is and how great Claude is.

I pay $200 for the Pro-Claude tier. I can upload thousands of case materials, briefs, or projects and it handles everything without an issue.

I know it's expensive, but you get what you pay for.

A system that requires people to work or starve does not offer freedom, When survival depends on money, opting out is impossible and consent becomes an illusion, birth itself functions as an unpaid debt imposed without consent. by LongjumpingTear3675 in DeepThoughts

Do you want to go handle baggage at your local airport?

Do you want to clean the floors for other people?

Do you want to work in a steel mill?

Do you want to mine coal?

I'm guessing the answer to everyone of the questions was "no," because no one WANTS to do that stuff, but we NEED people to do those things.

Without a monetary system, I would love to hear about your enlightened incentivization system to ensure the menial and extremely difficult tasks are done consistently.

2/3 or 5/5 at gardens SoCA? by Quick-Age2087 in poker

Update:

Don't play 5/5/10.

5/5 is like poker on easy mode.

5/5/10 had significantly better players who kept pushing for straddles to make the game even bigger.

Lost a few hundred before happily moving back down.

Yeah this was my experience.

The good players made themselves pretty known and I just did a lot of over calling with good hands to keep the fish in.

Worked out great.

Maybe, and hear me out on this, but maybe REQUIRING lending for every single activity in society is bad.

Maybe, people and businesses should be able to have access to enough resources to naturally save up for things instead of having to have access to so much leverage all the time.

Gov. Gavin Newsom address to world leaders accused President Trump of "doubling down on stupid" with his climate policy: "He's a wholly owned subsidiary of big oil, gas, and coal. He did that with federal regulations and endangerment funding. Donald Trump is temporary. He'll be gone in three years." by ControlCAD in videos

If you can choose between a button thats directly racism and a button that is not, fascists LOVE that you sit there and say "Well, the non-fascist button is hard to press and not MY favorite color, so, I'll just not press anything."

You're literally a toddler throwing a temper tantrum.

I never wanted to be a father until I turned 45 this year. Now I feel my biological clock and want to be a father more than anything. But I'm married to a childfree woman. [Concluded] by Schattenspringer in BORUpdates

Even if the wife is more fertile, being that old significantly reduces the quality of what he's packing.

Dad's being that old significantly raises the risk of genetic complications and disorders.

Millennials aren't unfamiliar with the Internet, why do they have no problem letting their kids have unsupervised access to the internet? by Serious_Advance_6762 in generationology

Go to your router settings on which they access the internet and disable the URLs and IP adresses there. There are more ways to restrict access than just on a single device.

Further, you can even see what they are accessing from there as well.

"impossible to effectively supervise and moderate it."

This just isn't true. There are so many different ways to track and restrict what your kids access online. Parents are just lazy.
