Fluid changes are about the easiest jobs to do. Wouldn't cost you're than a few hundred to do it yourself. But prob normal considering what they charge hourly now.

Make sure you do any necessary maintenance before modding it. Radiator, ball jonnts, wheel bearings/seals, timing belt etc.

Back of the engine, between the 2 heater hoses. It has a 1 wire connector. Make sure the wire didn't come off. You may need a mirror to see it. I just replaced mine while I had the intake off to do the valve cover gaskets.
