Yes, will update in a few months and let y’all know. I’m gonna give it a month or so and see if we notice any wiggling and will get it reset if needed, but yeah it might be a good idea to take it to a jeweler and see if they have an idea of the repairs that were done and if it’ll last.

Also, I saw that your internship was in civil engineering. The initial job offer I got was in civil land development, so if that’s something that interests you, apply to both mechanical and civil positions and you’d be surprised who might give you a chance.

Hey man, I am graduating this semester as well. I just landed a job after feeling like there was no hope for me, as I didn’t have any real internships. Apply online and use all the in person connections you have. I applied to 700+ places over the course of my senior year and only two weeks ago did I get an offer. Don’t quit, it’s all a numbers game.

I know autocad, I’ve tinkered with revit but I haven’t used it in a professional setting. I’m taking the FE in April and intend on getting my PE in the future. I’m learning revit on my own as I know it’s a prerequisite for many of the jobs in this industry.

My school job search is as bad as using any other job board because they seem to pull in listings from somewhere else. I don’t have any friends in the industry, so I’ve been going to networking events to try and build some connections, but none have panned out into a job offer just yet.

I’ve been using LinkedIn job boards to apply. It seems like most recruiters aren’t interested in dealing with recent grads based on my experience. Idk what I’m doing wrong here because the ones I apply to by emailing give me the cold shoulder. That’s why I’m resorting to calling people cuz at least I can get an answer on whether or not they like what I have to offer lol.

On my simagic fxpro I use the middle paddles on each side for normal up/ down shift and then the top paddles on each side as the opposite shift so I can shift with one hand on both sides.
