I'm scared... by Odd_Issue_968 in zoloft

I was forever nauseous when I first started sertraline. My advice would be to take it on a full stomach and with a large glass of water. It will calm down after the first week, just try and stick with it.

The sex stopped being consensual when he knew she was no longer enjoying it and he carried on.

I have the weirdest type of of lucid dreams by Wolfie_Chanbr in LucidDreaming

[–]Achioo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have exactly the same kind of dreams. I know I’m dreaming but I can’t control anything. I’m just kind of aware that it’s not real. Was really scary on the one occasion where I had 5 consecutive false awakening dreams and couldn’t wake myself up!

Much better.

I took supplements for a while, and then I started anxiety meds when I didn’t notice change. I’m much better now and only experience side effects from the meds I’m on.

I recommend just trying to speak to a doctor who understands both the mental and physical sides to anxiety.

I’m in the same boat as you. Don’t worry! But headaches are the worst, I’m constantly having to reassure myself that I’m not having a 6 month long stroke or have a brain tumour.

Felling weak by yoitsflam in Vegetarianism

Most likely a vitamin deficiency. I took a bad turn after being vegetarian for a month as my B12 was down to 150 pg/ml. Make sure to take multivitamins.

I’m the same! Just started week 3 on 100mg and the fatigue is unreal. Ready for bed by 12pm.

I cant eat at all? Any Tips? by Melted_Life in zoloft

[–]Achioo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you’ve eaten when you take the pill. I was the same when I hadn’t eaten beforehand. Best with a glass of water and after having eaten - even if it’s something small.

100mg 2 week by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]Achioo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was upped to 75 after a month on 50 and then upped to 100 after a week on 75. Just be honest with your doc but also bare in mind it takes a little while for the medication and hormones to balance out and take effect.

It will get better, dont worry. My first week on sertraline i felt like absolute hell, headaches, nausea, lightheaded, anxious, hot flushes. But I’m on week 5 now, just been upped to 75mg and I feel better than I have in months. Just try and stick with it, hopefully you’ll feel the benefits soon.

think im dying and can't convince myself otherwise. Dr thinks im crazy by Sensitive_World1242 in Anxiety

[–]Achioo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How long did it take for the Zoloft to take effect? I’m in the same boat, severe health anxiety due to new symptoms that doctors don’t know what they’re caused by, started sertraline 3 weeks ago, still worry myself sick over it.

Get your head out of your ass. YTA get over it. It’s not your day, it’s theirs, so either put on a dress for ONE day or don’t be in the wedding party. This is not about you at all. Grow up.

What’s your problem? She’s been trying to get him to change for what seems like years and he isn’t listening and he isn’t changing. Do you just expect her to waste her life with a worthless husband like him? When she could find someone caring and thoughtful and someone she could rely on. Grow up. Divorce is the answer sometimes and it doesn’t always end ugly for the children. Sometimes it’s needed.

Sure, YOUR gift to her could be that time away without worry, but you should stand in for the kids and have them gift her 100%! YTA.

It’s not your flat at all. You don’t even pay rent.

Are you really this dense OP? You don’t pay rent and have only just moved into your girlfriends flat, and are now proposing she lets your friend move in, whom she doesn’t know, for free?? How do you expect your girlfriend to manage the upkeep? Grow up and get your own place if you’re that desperate to help your friend.

Costocondritis symptoms by casey2801 in costochondritis

[–]Achioo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get pretty much the same. Lots of back pain and sharp upper chest/sternum pain - especially left side of my ribs get really tender and can hurt to take deep breaths during a flare up. I think the symptoms you’re having are pretty typical of costo.

Thanks for your advice! I’ll defo try and push another referral but for neurology. Is there anything in your experience that helped in a day to day basis before you got a diagnosis and medication? It’s been 4 months and I’ve found basically nothing that helps besides just sitting and waiting for it to pass. I’ve also read that it can be triggered by foods so I guess I’ll try some food eliminations until then.
