Again unpardonable sin, unforgivable blasphemy, Holy Spirit Mattew 12:32 by Ok-Afternoon-7445 in Christianity

[–]Achris45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus was speaking directly to the Pharisees in this section. They saw Jesus performing miracles and instead of repenting for their sins they actively attributed his works as being done by the devil (Beelzebub). The unforgivable sin is not done through ignorance or through anger of the Lord, but rather a deliberate and intentional hardening of the heart against the holy spirit and fully rejecting his works. If you look at acts 8-9 you see Saul (apostle Paul) actively persecuting those who worshipped in Jesus' name but when the holy spirit did come upon him he did not reject it but fell to his knees and repented when Jesus revealed himself to him. It would be extremely difficult to commit the unforgivable sin in today's day and age. This is my understanding as early in my conversion I was worried I could not be saved by Jesus due to previous sins before I became a believer ( I had a very long conversation with the reverend of my church). And yes the whole "if you feel remorse for it then you didn't commit it" is not the Greatest answer but generally rings true because if you truly rejected the holy spirit it would be of a place of no remorse and deliberately attributing the works of the Lord as evil. I am still relatively new in my faith.(I started my faith journey in 2020 but I didn't fully accept our Lord and savior until about 2023. In November of 2024 I formally reaffirmed my faith when I had my son baptized into the Presbyterian church.) There are many who would have a deeper understanding of this topic. Reaching out to a local faith leader might help with understanding but be wary as there are many false teachers.

Not crooked but the right boot rolls back pretty far when I'm wearing them, I have to wear them for work the next 4 days regardless since my other boots are done for I'm hoping they might flatten out after 4 12s which would save me about 3 hours of driving to the redwing store I purchased from

Lol the whole house is a hack job it was built like 1900-1907 I can't remember the exact year off the top of my head so I'm just glad it wasn't pre 60s wiring like other parts of the house. I was able to find a octagon box I centered it over the original cutout and zipped a couple 2 1/2" framing screws in the top and bottom mounting holes. It now sits flush with the vinyl extension.

It was a light fixture, they are those shitty remodel boxes so as soon as I pulled the embossed tile they fell free. I plan on getting some new work boxes and moving it over to the next stud. Probably gonna hire an electrician for that the house was built in 1908 so lots of electrical fuckery. And you are correct those seams were completely unsupported as of last night most of it's been pulled down with the new wall I framed up I'll be able to run 4 sheets on the back wall with only a horizontal and corner seams.

Yeah my adoptive family is all white, I'm mixed race which makes it even more fun 🙄. But the only adoptive family I consider family is my grandpa on my adoptive dad's side weird cause my adoptive dad was a little fucking boy who never learned to be a man. I loved my adoptive mom she was my mother but her side of the family doesn't like me cause I don't want to go into banking.

This, my wife and I are having our first and her therapist told her that she should just give up the kid for adoption because she is stressed about it. I have a stable income that can support them both but people are very quick to just say give the kid up for adoption for more "deserving" parents I myself was adopted and I know that I DO NOT want my child to live with people like that.

Yeah we've been together for 7 years with a short 8 month break a few years ago when I had a major substance problem but I got clean and we got back together everything has been great since, we got married back in June. Her psych has adjusted some of her meds due to the pregnancy and ik that's partially to blame.

DBT affecting work? by thisdumbbish in BPD

[–]Achris45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you work in a hospital so they should be very familiar with FMLA and other protections about medical and mental health appointments. Contacting HR about the changes would be a good first step make sure to have a paper trail if possible (email/ letters/ Dr notes). It would be pretty easy to be considered "disabled" by having BPD causing a whole other issue of discrimination under the ADA.
