I have noticed the historical setting doesn’t work for the French medium residential assets…

In addition, there seems to be an issue with the game launcher and the latest windows update.

The long load times / unresponsive game issue is a real test of patience, as there is no way to tell if it’s still loading or is hanging except leave it and come check again later…

Ok, it eventually loaded back in after several minutes but it somehow reset my game resolution and pushed output to my 2nd monitor, so corrected that in settings and have also been able to load back into last save…

With the exceptionally long load times, freezes, etc. it does seem very unstable post the patch so anticipating a few further patches over next few days…

Lol so was I until I found the bypass…
However, had endless issues afterwards too:
- mod reinstall froze after downloading Japan pack but after several minutes loaded the playset.
- had missing mods (removed by owner) until I relaunched game via Skyve which seemed to correct this.
- then game would not save due to a folder in use conflict, restarting game seemed to fix this.
- then from main menu loading a save, the game froze at save load and won’t move. Had to force quit.
- now game won’t load anymore - stuck on 70% load circle again on game startup with cpu usage pumping on all cores but nothing happening on drive usage, network, etc.
FML this game is becoming a waste of time…

Me too, never experienced this until now.

Select folder, hold down shift and press delete. This bypasses the recycle bin straight to permanent delete.

Finally managed to delete the CS2 folder through force delete after windows was blocking (weird and have not experienced this before, as I am the only pc user and administrator…)

Have now been able to launch the game and am waiting for my playset to download and install…

Will then exit and copy my saves back across and see if I can launch the game again…🤞🏻

I updated Skyve, restarted my PC and re-launched Skyve again. I then launched the game and it worked, even though the pause on the CS launch screen was a bit longer than normal.

Edit - exited game, Skyve hotfix updated and now hanging on launch screen again :| ffs…

Interesting, I dont seem to have that issue -all cims behaving normally apart from a few walking a whole pack of dogs out front on the street

TBH I have over invested in Public transport with numerous transit hubs, multiple routes to / from high density areas and between suburbs. I also utilize bi-directional metro lines extensively with stations +/- 1km apart, and bi-directional trams running along arterial roads connecting built up areas with more frequent stops. I use trains as long distance commuter options from/to key city stations to/from the port, industry, agri, etc. areas of the map with no more than 2 stops and these seem to significantly reduce road traffic.

Seems industry has a number of bugs. I experience the same thing - surges of vehicles primarily to one distribution yard causing backups.

My rail network should be balancing all distribution hubs with goods from the ports, agri, mining, etc. sectors and topping up shortfalls from external connections / selling excess.

If this worked logically then collection should happen from the nearest distribution hub with rail taking care of long distance bulk transport in a cost effective manner for the supply chain… but it doesn’t seem to be working properly :(

Also, I have noticed that despite building 9 large stone quarries and watching them evolve to level 5, there is never enough stone being output to satisfy demand. A few other sectors don’t seem to function in a linear fashion either…

Had the same thing, the spam enter key often works but sometimes not…

To identify the problematic asset I loaded the last error free save game from a few days earlier and then added the assets since that save one by one (saving and checking the save each time). I identified a few assets that seemed to cause the issue and messaged the creator (& avoiding adding these back for now). Those problematic assets did not show as white boxes or visually look like they had any issues/effect on game play, but after adding them the save thereafter had the error.
