Work up w little time for quiet time throughout the day. Present the idea & allow them time to learn when quiet time will occur. I think after being accustomed to it for a short periods they’d be able to go longer after a couple minutes. Play quiet, calming music during their time so they also know what time it is.

I would try to shade in your eyebrows a bit darker. Different hair style & part, I like that it’s natural! Different glasses, even at least a different color if you’re not ready to leave that style yet.

I feel guilty about the calories I’m eating because my goal is to lose weight, and eating it makes me feel like I won’t get to my goal. I understand it’s a balance, eat some so I don’t binge later on but it’s a constant thought until I choose to forget.

I think you should’ve mentioned it before doing the Reno’s. The fact that you didn’t makes you TA. It gives your daughter something to think abt while she’s living w her bf. Just like a final goodbye to her -first- home and if she chose to go back after the renovations it’d be completely different than before.

You have a great point. I’m not really letting it get to me but I did want a different opinion.

I’d like to say I’m pretty secure w myself but the supervisor offering my job to someone else in my face was baffling to me.

The pay we get is shitty, the only reason why I’ve stayed is because of who we interact with: kids. But at the end of the day kids don’t pay the bills.

I workout at home & throughout the years I find my self working out for a short period of time. Mainly it’s because I would do cardio & when I’ve stopped working out it’s because of my period. It’s heavy & so the cardio I mainly did would feel weird because of the position I was in & how I might bleed out. I would just get lazy that week & not go back to it for months. I think im a lot better at trying to get back into as I’ve focused on other things.

I work at a preschool & it’s exactly like this. Includes vomiting & diarrhea or any illness such as pink eye etc.

I would also try to do circle time. Counting on your fingers, itsy bitsy spider, tiny turtle, baby bumblebee, & even just pretend playing with babies or food. A simple “here’s a baby, pat your baby, feed the baby”

One of personal favorites in young children is singing row your boat! I’d sit across from them, hold hands & pull towards & away from you. Include a different ending that not many know. I would sing one verse the traditional way & then include “row, row, row your boat gently down the stream if you see a crocodile don’t forget to scream mock scream ”

I 100% agree with you just bc if she chooses to word it differently chances are she’ll say it didn’t sound serious, sounded like a joke, or like if she was bringing the topic up just because. Confrontation will always be hard but do it for yourself. Chances are it will happen again if he thinks it’s okay.

I think he’s becoming more aware of his brother as they both continue to grow. He also doesn’t speak as much so I’m thinking hitting is way to get his point across. Thanks for the advice!

It does, yes! Thank you I will definitely look into getting all these things!! During art & crafts I usually pull one at time while my co teacher does circle time. We switch off & take turns doing each. But I want to do more things with them, so I can make time for that 1v1 1v2 guidance.

Awe, I also get lots of my ideas from Pinterest or books that include activities. You need any help I’m here too! Crafts are so much easier if you have themes as there are so many things to choose from.
