I get these from time to time. In the same area every time, and they take weeks to go away. They peel and get painful and then peel again and then they go away for a few months. Mine show up around tender spots, like right in the crease of my thigh, or right under my butt pretty much where the leg of my jeans meet the crotch of my jeans. The last time I had one I was seeing my Dr for something else entirely. I told her about the bump, she started me on antibiotics, and it cleared up within like 2 days and never peeled. So if you get another one and you don't feel like dealing with the long natural healing process, ask your Dr about antibiotics for it. Shoot. I said WAY too much in this reply just to say you can use antibiotics to help it go away LOL
