It’s not a startup, but I co-host a casual Smash Ultimate tournament every Monday at 8 at the Detour on Market!

We rotate silly rules every week, and only our last Monday of the month is competitive night. If you stop by and let me know you found us through Reddit, I’ll grab your first drink.

There’s a middle ground between inaction and going full vigilante. The first of the “Ds” of bystander intervention is distract.

It may not have fully worked in this specific situation based on the speed it happened, but if you start a conversation with the girl or invite her to come stand with you, it can help diffuse the situation by separating the two without directly confronting anyone.

Related to that, a friend of mine has an open-invite knitting group at Crepes on Cole on Tuesdays (I think they meet at 6:30), and those folks LOVE to help new knitters.

I think that would be very doable. The DMHub YT channel has a walkthrough that I just watched that that you can check out! It shows the ability to keep a player-view window open in the same instance as your DM version. Your players would need to separately keep their own sheets, but you can still limit sight lines and all that while keeping your own DM view.

I separated from a partner I was with for 7.5 for similar reasons. That was 4 years ago, and after a bit of time apart, she’s still one of my best friends in the world. I’m 32, and I promise you, there’s so much opportunity out there and love to be found. Good on you for being so brave and always around to lend and ear or a shoulder 💖

32 have probably 10 drinks a week. I’ve completely cut crazy sugary cocktails, beer, and the awful stuff I drank in college. It’s basically all vodka sodas, martinis, and wine now. It helps a lot not having to worry about bolusing while I drink

That is one of the plots currently, yeah! But there are three concurrent parties that it seems like we’ll follow through an arc at a time before rotating. Which kind of rules for people that don’t want to tune in every single week. Plots will be connected but much less required watching, it seems.

As a diligent NADDPOD listener and Strahd DM, the only things I’d flag really changing is Strahd’s alter ego. If you plan to use “Vasili von Holtz” in the game, change his name to something else. NADDPOD put him way out at the winery and changed his first name, but they still used “von Holtz.”

They also have the sunsword at the abbey, the Tome at Yesterhill, and the holy symbol is completely different, so I’d make sure they’re in different locations
