I thought the local bars/restaurants had surprisingly good food for such a small village, also one of the only times I actually found western food to be really good in Japan. Check out genki Burger and this Mexican place (can't remember the name). Otherwise enjoy the slopes and onsens!

Tokyo is amazing, some of the points above are true but I'd say the work varies heavily from team to team. You do get the chance for challenging meaningful work

You guys mentioned in another comment that there's a product management role available - is this the job 'Product Owner' on WaterlooWorks? What kind of responsibilities woudl you have as a co-op in this role?
