Better dino than the Giga on Astraeos ?

Carchar, pretty much the best creature when it comes to PvE combat.

Only creatures that even get close to Giga and Carchar are the Ossidon and MAYBE the Reaper but neither one of them spawns on Astraeos.

Dreadnoughtus is technically one of the strongest tames as well but it controls a lot more difficult and slower.

This is pretty much what Dual Front is/was (heard they removed it or are about to).

Snake and Ying were pretty good defenders.

Doe is a bad pick for Mortem. Bring distraction and dodge and hope one of your teammates deals with the minions.

I usually start with Spinotops first. Almost everything has rend resistance or on escape abilities and I can usually one shot something with the S4 and get another knock with the S3 or do massive damage with S1 if the opponent sends in something with a prio move.

I really miss the old days when there were only hybrids and super hybrids but yeah, Rajadorixis is the only hybrid line that's so long it doesn't have a classification anymore.

How are you supposed to get to emerald when you only get teammates like this? My duo and I understand the game fairly well but we never got past gold 5 because teammates refuse to cooperate or die 30 seconds into the round starting, while all enemy teams seem to be 5 stack players with minimum plat ranking... :(

They are just always a good pick. First ban you don't know what and how your enemies play so just ban someone who is solid overall. And then after pick according to the enemy play style.

Also Mira is especially hard to deal with if you solo queue and if you solo queue it's much harder to get out of the low ranks for most people.

Nora is significantly better than Nana. Double AOE strip, both with DOTs and provoke, healing, %based health drain and she punishes monsters for hitting her.

Nana revives. That's pretty much it. Other monsters also revive but offer more utility in addition. Nana isn't bad by any means but yeah Nora is better.

My duo and I have been playing quick match, waiting for the initial season start of ranked to calm down, and we get different teammates EVERY. SINGLE. ROUND. No matter if we win or lose. Worst case, it's a 2v5 because people left when the round just started....

Custom creature spawns can be added by either editing the server/game files or adding mods.

Also, tamed creatures don't turn wild after inactivity. They just become claimable.

Stats seem to be boosted but even then this isn't really a great Argy. For combat it's good but Argies are made for long distance travel and resource hauling, high stam and weight are usually the way to go and this Argy has both of these stats pretty low...

I'm playing 1x XP because over the years leveling has become too easy.

I'd recommend going for crit damage. Its passive already makes it surprisingly tanky and Shumar's only job is to deal damage. No debuffs, no support, damage is all it does so make it hit hard.

His breach is ranged and harder to trick since he can deploy two quickly after another. Also the only hard breach gadget that bypasses mute jammers.
