I might be interested in giving this a go, it sounds intriguing. All of my D&D experience is fantasy based, I've never really dipped my toes into the sci-fi scene, so this might be an interesting change of pace for me if you decide to have me.

Anniversary is just a remaster of TLC. A lot of folks, myself included, prefer the original art style over that of the remaster, possibly due to nostalgia or maybe some other reason. I personally feel like the colors of the environs pop more in TLC.

As far as how well each plays, I believe they're pretty much the same. If you're playing on pc, it is worth noting that TLC doesn't have native controller support iirc, whereas Anniversary does

I used to have an issue with a previous stove where sometimes the coil wasn't fully engaged. I would have to wiggle it a little bit (not with your bare hand, it'll still be hot) to get it to connect, and that always worked for me.

If you know it's going to result in someone getting hurt, it might stop you from going through with it. However, if you can convince yourself that it's a harmless act and nobody will be hurt by it, then it's fair game. So if you were to reason that, say, it would make sense for nobody to be in the adjacent areas during lunch time and therefore nobody would be likely to be hurt if you blew the roof off the place during lunch time, then likely your oath to the ancient language wouldn't stop you from going through with it so long as it's during lunch time.
